This Girl Scout Silver Award project provides free, equitable voice, dance, and acting education to youth in the Cedar Grove community. The goal of the project is to ensure that all students—regardless of financial background—have access to high-quality performing arts training and hands-on experience.
Through structured workshops, group instruction, and performance opportunities, participants will develop foundational skills in singing, movement, and theatrical performance. The program is designed to build confidence, creativity, teamwork, and stage readiness while preparing students for successful participation in the performing arts programs within the Cedar Grove School District.
By removing financial and access barriers, this project promotes inclusion, artistic expression, and equal opportunity, helping young performers gain the skills and experience needed to thrive in school-based arts programs and beyond.
A prerequisite for us to create this program was hosting an 8 hour event that prepares the girls to lead with confidence!
We prepared a presentation and asked for permission to use the CG Public Library to run our program! We got approved!
We worked together to prepare our schedule for the year, gather feedback, sponsors and prepare for the longevity of our program!
Our program is active!! We hope you join us!
