Hello, everyone! Thank you for viewing my Project 2 page. My name is Audrey Hurd, and I am a freshman at the College of Coastal Georgia. From this page, you will be able to access my script, listen to my podcast, and review my works cited page. My topic for this project is the racial oppression of women. This issue has been persistent in our society for several generations, and many people are unaware of the true scope of the racial oppressions of women. In my project, I use various sources from different articles and collections to examine racial injustices that women face. I compare different author’s viewpoints across the subtopics in my project. I will primarily focus on the racial disparities that women have to face regarding the issues of colorism and white feminism. I ask that you please take a little bit of time out of your day to truly engage your mind in the very important topic that I am about to present. I hope that you will be able to grasp a better understanding of my topic and be able to apply it to your own life after reviewing my script or listening to my podcast. Thank you so much for tagging along!
