I talked with Sarah before the third preview to see where she wanted me to steer the discussion. She told me that the most important thing she wanted to be discussed was how people are seeing hope in the show. I steered things that direction in the third preview as well as both performances. Looking back, I think I would have done things a little differently. I would have steered things towards the directing. How Sarah made the puppets by hand, designed the set herself, etc. I feel like I learned a lot from leading the post show discussion and have really grown to appreaciate them and their purpose a whole lot more after this semester.Â
