Something About Me

I am a mathematician working at the intersection of dynamical systems, low-dimensional topology, and combinatorics. I obtained my PhD from the Institut de Mathématiques de Bourgogne (IMB) under the supervision of  Christian Bonatti, where my research focused on the classification of generalized pseudo-Anosov homeomorphisms via Markov partitions. I completed my MSc at IM-UNAM (CU) under the supervision of Ana Rechtman,, and my BSc at FC-UNAM, where I was advised by M. A. Sandoval Romero.

Since February 2026, I have held a postdoctoral position at the Instituto de Matemáticas, UNAM (Oaxaca unit), under the mentorship of Alfredo Nájera, where we study dynamical systems of algebraic origin. Previously, I was a research assistant within the SNI under the supervision of Fuensanta Aroca, and I completed a PAPIIT-UNAM research stay mentored by Lara Bossinger. I have also taught as a lecturer at indifents univeristiies at Mexico as ENES-Oaxaca (UNAM), UABJO, and ITO.
