How fast can you plunder the stars?

You are in a crew of Interstellar Spelunkers looking to get rich quick. Roaming through space, you and an opposing crew spot a prospective solar system at the exact same time. After making awkward eye contact, both crews hastily launch towards it. Along the way, you try to gather as much space junk as you can to build new mining equipment. If you and your crew don’t out-spelunk the other faction, your boss will surely fire you all.
