InterPorn is designed to block adult websites and explicit web content while keeping browsing information on the user's device.
INFORMATION HANDLED
To provide its blocking features, InterPorn processes web addresses and hostnames for pages the user visits; page titles, descriptions, headings, and a limited portion of visible page text; and protection settings and custom allow/block hostnames entered by the user.
InterPorn does not collect personally identifiable information, authentication information, financial information, health information, personal communications, or precise location information.
HOW INFORMATION IS USED
Web addresses and page content are examined only to decide whether a page is likely to contain explicit content, apply the user's custom rules, and enforce SafeSearch. Settings and custom hostname lists are stored locally so they persist between browser sessions.
STORAGE AND RETENTION
Protection settings and custom hostname lists are stored using Chrome's local extension storage on the user's device. InterPorn does not maintain a browsing-history database. Page addresses and content examined for blocking are not retained after the check.
SHARING AND TRANSFERS
InterPorn does not transmit browsing activity or page content to the developer or to third parties. It does not sell user data, use user data for advertising, use it for purposes unrelated to content blocking, or use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending.
REMOTE CODE AND ANALYTICS
InterPorn does not load or execute remote code. It does not include analytics, advertising trackers, or telemetry.
USER CONTROLS
Users can pause protection and edit or remove custom allow/block entries from the extension's settings. Uninstalling the extension removes its locally stored settings through the browser.
CHANGES
This policy may be updated when InterPorn's functionality or data practices change. The effective date above will be revised when an update is published.
