Privacy Policy — Internet Speed Check
App: Internet Speed Check

This Privacy Policy explains how Internet Speed Check (the “App”) handles information when you use our Android application. The App measures approximate internet download speed, upload speed, and HTTP latency using public CDN endpoints.
Summary
• Speed-test results and optional history stay on your device for the App’s features.
• We do not create user accounts and we do not require you to sign in.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• The App shows ads through Google AdMob, which may collect device and advertising-related data as described below.
2. Information the App processes
2.1 Speed tests and on-device history
When you run a test, the App downloads and/or uploads sample data via public CDN endpoints and measures timing to estimate download speed, upload speed, and HTTP latency. Results you keep in history are stored only on your device (for example via local app storage). We do not upload your speed-test history to our own servers. Clearing app data or uninstalling the App removes local history.
2.2 Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App uses Google AdMob to show ads. Google and its partners may collect and process information such as:
Device identifiers (for example Advertising ID)
• IP address and approximate location derived from IP
• Device and app technical information (model, OS version, app version)
• Ad interaction data (views, clicks)
This data is processed by Google under their own policies. See:
Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
AdMob & privacy: https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543
Advrtising data responsibility
Advertising disclaimer: Any data you provide or that is collected through ads in this app is processed by the advertising partners (such as Google AdMob), not by SimplifyApp. Those partners are responsible for that advertising data under their own privacy policies. SimplifyApp is not responsible for data collected or used by third-party ads.

Any data collected or processed through ads in this app is handled by advertising partners such as Google AdMob under their own privacy policies. Those partners are responsible for that advertising data. SimplifyApp is not responsible for data collected or use
You can reset or limit your Advertising ID in Android settings (Google → Ads, or Privacy → Ads, depending on your device).

2.3 Network requests required for testing
To measure speed and latency, the App must send network requests to public CDN endpoints. Those endpoints and transit networks may see standard connection metadata (such as IP address and request timing), as with any internet connection. We do not operate a separate account or profile for you on our servers.
2.4 Crash and diagnostics (if enabled)
If we enable Google Play’s standard crash reporting or similar diagnostics, anonymous technical logs (app version, device model, stack traces) may be collected to fix bugs. These do not include a full copy of your on-device history beyond what is needed for crash context.
3. Permissions
The App requests:
INTERNET — to run download/upload/latency tests against public CDN endpoints and to load ads
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — to check whether a network connection is available before testing
4. How we use information
To provide speed and latency measurements on your device
• To keep optional test history locally on your device
• To show ads and measure ad performance (via AdMob / Google)
• To maintain and improve app stability
5. Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. Advertising-related data may be processed by Google AdMob and its partners as described in Google’s policies. We do not share your on-device speed-test history with third parties because we do not collect it on our servers.
Data retention
Speed-test history remains on your device until you clear it in the App, clear app storage, or uninstall. Ad-related data retention is controlled by Google according to their policies.
7. Children’s privacy
The App is intended for a general audience. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through ads or the App, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Your choices
• Clear or avoid saving history in the App (where available)
• Limit ad personalization via Android Advertising ID settings
• Uninstall the App to remove local app data
9. Security
We design the App so speed-test history stays on-device. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure; please keep your device locked when not in use.
10. International processing
AdMob / Google and public CDN providers may process data on servers outside your country. Use of the App means such processing may occur as described in those providers’ policies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App or laws change. The “Effective date” at the top will be revised. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
