Do you like food? Do you like cooking? Do you like science? If you do, here's the course for you.

It's presented by EdX, the online learning destination that MIT and Harvard founded in 2012 . All you need is an internet connection and a little time.

Signing up is easy -- and FREE

Click on the course link below. Or click here. That will take you to the edX page for the course. Read about it. Watch the video. If the course looks like fun, then click the "Enroll Now" button and follow the instructions. (If you have problems, email me and I'll try to help.

I'm mike@internet-u.org.

Learn with neighbors

Learning is more fun with other people. I'm signed up, and I hope some of my Blue Hill neighbors will too. If enough local people sign up and want to do something together, then The University of the Internet (that's me) will arrange some real-world activities in Blue Hill and on-line activities on our virtual university campus.

If you want to find about local activities, fill out the "Local Activities" form further down the page and submit it, or click here. The form asks for your email address. Don't worry. I'll keep it private, and send you only email that you've asked for.

If you don't want to leave your email address, then just keep checking the site. I'll be posting updates.
