แอดิเลด Adelaide เป็นเมืองหลวงและเมืองที่มีประชากรมากที่สุดของรัฐเซาท์ออสเตรเลีย (South Australia) และเป็นเมืองที่ใหญ่ที่สุดเป็นอันดับ 5 ของออสเตรเลีย ประชากรมากกว่า 1.1 ล้านคน ชื่อเมืองตั้งตามพระนามของอเดลเลดแห่งแซ็กซ-ไมนิงเก็น สมเด็จพระราชินีแห่งสหราชอาณาจักร พระอัครมเหสีในสมเด็จ พระเจ้าวิลเลียมที่ 4 แห่งสหราชอาณาจักร เมืองก่อตั้งในปี ค.ศ. 1836
ในปี 2015 เมืองแอดิเลดได้ถูกจัดอันอับใน QS Best Student Cities 2015 ให้เป็นเมืองที่เหมาะสมต่อการศึกษาอันดับ 29 ของโลก ซึ่งเป็นอีกหนึ่งตัวสะท้อนว่าเมืองแอดิแลดเป็นเมืองที่มีค่าครองชีพเหมาะสมกับการอยู่อาศัยของนักศึกษา นักศึกษาที่มีความหลากหลายทางเชื้อชาติ และมหาวิทยาลัยในเมืองแอดิแลดติดอันดับมหาวิทยาลัยโลก โดยนักศึกษาต่างชาติที่เรียนอยู่ในเมืองแอดิเลดคิดเป็นร้อยละ 26 สำหรับมหาวิทยาลัยที่มีชื่อเสียงและติดอันดับมหาวิทยาลัยใน QS World University Ranking 2015/16
แอดิเลด เมืองแห่งวิถีชีวิตสีเขียว อาหารอันโอชา แม้จะมีประชากรมากกว่ากว่าล้านคนที่อาศัยอยู่ในเมืองนี้ อีกทั้งนักท่องเที่ยวมากมาย แต่แอดิเลดก็ยังทำให้ทุกคนไม่รู้สึกแออัด ด้วยที่นี่เป็นเมืองที่เป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยจะมีจักรยานให้ยืมปั่นไปได้รอบเมือง อีกทั้งยังเป็นเมืองแรกของโลกที่มีรถบัสพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ไว้ให้บริการ ตึกราบ้านช่องก็ล้วนใช้พลังงานสีเขียว นับเป็นเมืองที่ไร้ที่ติอย่างแท้จริง ซึ่งก็ต้องยกความดีความชอบให้กับ Colonel William Light ผู้ซึ่งวางผังเมืองที่ดีให้แก่ชาวแอดิเลด ทั้งถนนอันกว้างสนามกีฬาสาธารณะที่โอ่อ่าและล้อมรอบไปด้วยพื้นที่สีเขียวอันสวยงามทีสามารถเดินทางถึงกันได้ภายใน 20 นาทีเท่านั้น นอกจากนี้ แอดิเลดยังเป็นประตูสู่ไร่ไวน์ของออสเตรเลีย อย่างหุบเขาบารอสซา (Barossa Valley) ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่เพาะปลูกผลิตผลทางการเกษตรของท้องถิ่น อีกทั้งยังเป็นแหล่งผลิตไวน์ระดับโลกอีกด้วย ซึ่งที่นี่ใช้เวลาเดินทางจากกลางเมืองเพียงหนึ่งชั่วโมงเศษๆ เท่านั้น

The Oakbank Area School named in 1944 (formerly known as Oakbank Consolidated School) was formed when the two primary schools of Balhannah and Oakbank were merged in 1938.
Located between these two picturesque towns, our school is the only Reception to Year 12 state school in the Adelaide Hills providing holistic education and an effortless transition into secondary education. We offer our 300 students a comprehensive broad based learning program with a progressive curriculum that allows individuals to discover and develop new skills, ideas and competencies for transition into tertiary studies or employment.

Mount Compass is located 59 Kms from Adelaide GPO. It is centrally placed on the Fleurieu Peninsula being approximately equidistant from Strathalbyn, Goolwa, Port Elliot, Victor Harbor, Yankalilla, Aldinga and McLaren Vale.
Mount Compass Area School has been at its present site since 1934. It became an Area School in 1962. Rapid enrolment increases in the 1980's saw a redevelopment of the school and the addition of Year 12 in 1988. It is now a comprehensive community school with significant numbers of students enrolled from neighbouring districts.
In 2014, the Mount Compass School Boardwalk underwent a major upgrade thanks to a project funded by the SA Murray-Darling Basin Natural Resources Management Board through the Australian Government Biodiversity Fund, and a State Government Natural Resources Management Community grant.
