A Community Project

All behaviors and affects diverging from the patriarchy deserves to be questioned. Internalized misogyny feeds into sexism, which leads to violence against women. Though internalized misogyny is not the source of the problem, as women, is it important to recognize the barriers that are holding us back.

Why a collage?

There is something different about artistic expression than simply answering a question. This issue can be deeply personal, and by asking people to respond with with images and words, thoughts do not need to fully formed. Sometimes it can also be easier to express thoughts in images or single words instead of full sentences. Art can reflect the diversity of thoughts and experiences, and also be easily read by people passing by.
