Kruger’s career in law enforcement wasn’t exactly exciting, or interesting, until he made his way into the Special Investigative Division of the Fairbank Police Department.  During his time at SID he was largely successfully, resulting in the conviction of numerous members of organized crime syndicates.  Unfortunately, this also made him a target for members for said of syndicates.  Those very syndicates had ties to members within the department were more than willing to have Kruger die under “mysterious circumstances” for an extra paycheck.

Thankfully for Kruger, his efforts within the department had gotten him noticed by the Foundations MTF Iota-10.  I-10 recommended his recruitment to the Foundation, not only to potentially gain a valuable new member, but also to save his life.
