Lifeguards and rescue team
The lifeguards are for all ages with the main goal: Learning to swim very well!
Every week you work on your fitness, your swimming technique and your swimming skills in
a playful way to teach yourself and others to swim red in the water.
By practicing with different techniques, rescue equipment and tools you
become a little faster, stronger and more agile each time.
The lifeguards are not directly a competitive sport, but every swimming season
you work towards a next swimming diploma.
For everyone at their own level and also for all ages.
If you have enough diplomas, you can later even become a lifeguard or supervisor in a swimming pool

What do we do
The lifeguards practice weekly in the swimming pool.
Everyone trains at their own level and works towards the next diploma.
Working together is important in the lifeguards, which is why the trainers also organize joint
lessons so that the different levels can work together and learn from each other.
Swimming Rescue Training
In the United Arab Emirates, thousands of people accidentally end up in the water every year.
Hundreds of people unfortunately do not survive this.
The International Academy Institute's rescue team and lifeguard United Arab Emirates
therefore provides challenging training for Swimming Rescue, for young and old.
In this training, making yourself (more) able to save yourself in the water and learning
to save others from the water is central.
This training forms the basis for our volunteers of the beach and event security.
A child can start the Junior Rescuer training immediately after obtaining a swimming diploma from the swimming
ABC, in which increasing your own safety and self-reliance in the water is the main focus.
Within the International Academy Institute's rescue team and lifeguard United Arab Emirates,
For the youth
What do you like to do most when you go to the beach, by the sea or at the recreational lake?
Play! Jumping in the waves, swimming, floating, building sand castles,
collecting shells, playing football;
it's all possible.
But: safety comes first!
International Academy Institute's rescue team and lifeguard United Arab Emirates
believes it is important that children and young people learn and continue to swim well,
and know the dangers of open water.
More safety in, on and along the water.
That is the goal for which the lifesavers and lifeguards of rescue brigades volunteer every day.
We do our utmost to ensure that no one drowns, and that everyone can safely enjoy
the many waters that United Arab Emirates has to offer.
International Academy Institute's rescue team and lifeguard United Arab Emirates
needs you, the youth, very much.
Because the youth are the future, including the future of the rescue brigades.
It is very important to learn to swim well.
That means: obtaining the National Swimming Diplomas.
And that is possible at International Academy Institute's rescue team and lifeguard United Arab Emirates.
Read more about it here.
In addition, it is important to learn what to do if you get into trouble in the water and
what you can do if you see someone else in trouble.
Read together with your parents about how to become a rescue brigade member and how to obtain the
Junior Lifeguard and Swimming Lifeguard diplomas.
Maybe you also want to become a lifesaver or even a lifeguard!
In practice, a lesson looks like this.
We take as an example a girl of 7 years old, who has swimming diplomas A and B and joins our association.
She comes in a group of ± 6 students of as much the same age as possible and starts the education and training
for a certificate under the guidance of her own instructor.
Lessons are given every week, the training for a diploma takes about 10 months
prize for rescue brigade training and lifeguard training
Boys and girls from 5 years to 15 years
for the lifeguard training, you pay 700 AED for the months
And
I also give swimming lessons 5 days a week to boys and girls from 15 years and

I see that every time the fake swimming instructor in United Arab Emirates especially in Abu Dhabi
that they make video or photo of your children in the swimming pool especially of the girl and
I see that the fake swimming instructor do every time to make video and photo and that is 100% not allowed.
I have a lot of contact with America FBI to stop this to make
video or photo of children and especially video or photo of the girl.
That making video and photo is not allowed in the swimming pool by all the fake swimming instructor.
Because there are international rules that it is not allowed to make
video and photo of children and especially girls.
If a fake swimming instructor tells you that they show video or photo
to your children or if they swim well is 100% lies.
These fake swimming instructors sell the video or photo of your children
on the black market where they earn a lot of money.
Especially video or photo of the girl the fake swimming instructor earns
a lot of money on the black market and that is 100%.
Please Call Abu Dhabi Police 999
And tell that fake swimming instructor illegally make video and photo
of children and girls in the swimming pool.
Do not go the lifeguard because they get money from the fake swimming instructor
to make video and photo of the children and especially girls.
Because the lifeguard earn too little money with their work, because of the fake
swimming instructor the lifeguard have a little more money because of that video and photo making.
Here are the Code of Conduct for the Swimming Industry.
Version November 2021
The interaction between swimming pool employees and visitors
and swimming students cannot be regulated in detail.
Certainly not when physical contact is necessary in the form of instruction,
correction or assistance (think of visitors with a disability) or to prevent drowning
or another unsafe situation or is necessary for maintaining order and safety.
Nevertheless, it is advisable to establish principles and rules of conduct on
the basis of which the boundary between permitted and undesirable behaviour
of swimming pool employees in specific situations can be determined.
The aim of this is to protect all persons involved and
to promote public confidence in the swimming industry.
The National Swimming Safety Council (hereinafter referred to as ‘NRZ’) and stakeholders
from the swimming industry (hereinafter referred to as ‘the swimming industry’) have entered
into consultations with the aim of realising a code of conduct with the above-mentioned purpose.
To this end, NRZ and the swimming sector have drawn up the
‘Code of Conduct for the Swimming Sector’ and the ‘Principles of Professional Practice in General’
(hereinafter jointly referred to as: ‘the code of conduct’), which contain rules of conduct.
These rules of conduct are intended as a guideline for correct behaviour by swimming pool employees.
The various examples of undesirable behaviour mentioned
in the code of conduct are therefore not exhaustive or static.
A number of terms mentioned in the code of conduct
are defined below.
In 2021, the Code of Conduct for the Swimming Sector was updated by NRZ, in collaboration
with various sector parties, based on the most recent developments.
In addition, the Code of Conduct for the Swimming Sector was supplemented with the section
‘The swimming pool employee in contact with colleagues’.
Swimming pool employee
In the code of conduct, the term ‘swimming pool employee’ is understood to mean:
a natural person who, regardless of the legal status of the working relationship
(civil servant, employee, seconded employee, self-employed person, temporary worker, volunteer, intern, student, etc.), performs work in the:
● executive framework, for example in the position of swimming pool employee or swimming instructor;
● facility framework, for example in the position of canteen employee,
maintenance employee, counter employee;
● management framework;
● administrative framework;
● supervisory framework, for example in the position of delegated diploma swimming.
Visitor
The term ‘visitor’ is understood to mean: any (natural) person, other than
a swimming pool employee, who visits the swimming pool.
Swimming student
The term ‘swimming student’ is understood to mean: any visitor who
receives swimming lessons from a swimming pool employee.
Logbook
The term ‘logbook’ means: a register, written or digital, in which the swimming pool
employee can record the events mentioned in the code of conduct
General principles of professional practice
A swimming pool employee
1. strives to practice the profession as well as possible and in doing so takes into account
the views and positions of the professional group as laid down in the code of conduct;
is constantly aware of the exemplary function when practicing the profession;
2. takes personal responsibility for practicing the profession within the limits of swimming
education and within the applicable regulations of the swimming pool where the work is performed;
3. observes the limits of professional expertise; in the event of the nature and scope of
problems that exceed expertise, the swimming pool employee is obliged to call in other experts;
for example in the event of suspected abuse and mistreatment (in the home situation);
4. is responsible for the further development of professionalism; also in the area of social interaction
and correct communication with visitors, parent(s)/guardian(s) and children;
5. performs the work as a member of a team, in a collegial responsibility;
6. maintains professional contacts with colleagues within the swimming pool
and with the swimming pool management;
7. communicates correctly with colleagues and management in words, gestures,
in writing and via social media or other electronic means;
8. ensures that colleagues adhere to the code of conduct. Where appropriate,
addresses colleagues about undesirable forms of conduct;
9. informs the manager in the event of undesirable forms of conduct or
disregard of the code of conduct by a colleague;
10. refrains from behaviour and statements that discredit the employer,
colleagues or visitors, also when using social media, and is an example to others;
11. can provide a certificate of good conduct (VOG);
12. addresses the employer, colleagues, visitors or parent(s)/guardian(s) in appropriate cases
about undesirable forms of conduct, such as making and sharing images without permission
B. The swimming pool employee in contact with visitors
1. provides an environment and atmosphere in which the visitors of the swimming pool, including
swimming students, children and parent(s)/guardian(s), feel safe; by being visible,
supervising and consistently monitoring compliance with the regulations, house rules,
code of conduct and other internal agreements and enforcing the rules;
2. has the duty to protect visitors against (power) abuse, (sexual) intimidation and
other undesirable forms of conduct within the swimming pool.
The employee is vigilant and alert to signs of transgressive behavior and takes action if necessary;
3. realizes at all times that certain situations and/or actions can be experienced by
the visitor as (sexual) intimidation, or can lead to accusations of undesirable behavior.
The employee acts in accordance with established regulations, house rules, code of conduct
and other internal agreements so that it is easy to explain the actions and
there is insight into the actions and the motives;
4. avoids 1-on-1 situations with visitors in a closed space, unless this is necessary from a safety
and/or health perspective, such as in the event that first aid must be provided, life-saving actions
must be performed or the swimming pool must be evacuated due to calamities.
Such a situation is always recorded in the logbook and reported to the manager;
5. only enters a changing room, shower room, sauna or similar space where a visitor is
after obtaining prior permission from the visitor and will then justify entering the
changing room/shower room to the manager.
If it is nevertheless necessary for reasons of safety and health of the visitor to enter this space, such as in
the cases mentioned in Article 4, the swimming pool employee will announce this clearly and with reasons.
Such a situation is always recorded in the logbook and reported to the manager.
The visitor is granted as much privacy as possible;
6. only has physical contact with the visitor if this is functional and/or necessary,
for example for educational reasons or for reasons of the visitor's safety or health,
for example when first aid must be provided or life-saving actions must be performed.
Does not touch the visitor in such a way that the visitor and/or the employee themselves
can reasonably expect this contact to be sexual, aggressive or intimidating;
7. behaves hospitably and respectfully. Respects the visitor and refrains from treating
the visitor in a way that affects the visitor's dignity.
Therefore, refrains from any form of intimidation, namely: humiliating, threatening, coercing,
swearing, ignoring, bullying, sexual intimidation, discrimination on the grounds of gender, race,
(philosophical) belief, sexual preference, disability or for any other reason;
8. shows involvement with the visitor, but always maintains and maintains
a professional distance in contacts with the visitor;
9. does not penetrate further into the (private) life of the visitor than is necessary for the performance of
the function; this also applies to contacts via social media or other electronic means of communication;
10. clearly indicates the boundary if a visitor insists on intimacy; this also applies if intimacy is
insisted on via social media or other electronic means of communication.
The rules for dealing with 'visitors' in general have been set out above.
The following describes specific additional rules with regard to swimming students
and their parent(s)/guardian(s).
These two groups are primarily visitors to the swimming pool, but
unlike regular visitors, swimming students have social contact with their
swimming instructor during swimming lessons.
There is direct contact between swimming student and swimming instructor within
a dependency situation.
Also in the contact with their parent(s)/guardian(s) there is such a relationship of
dependency between swimming instructor and parent(s)/guardian(s),
whereby the swimming instructor has professional
predominance by virtue of the profession.
The above also applies in appropriate cases to
pool employees other than swimming instructors.
C. The swimming pool employee in contact with swimming students
1. respects the swimming student in look, word, gesture and does not make video recordings,
unless swimming students and/or their parent(s)/guardian(s) themselves request the making
of video recordings and in that case in such a way that the swimming student's dignity is not affected;
2. does not abuse in any way the power and dependency relationship that results
from the profession; both during work and outside of work and in
any form of communication (for example social media);
3. refrains from any form of intimidation, namely: humiliating, threatening, coercing,
swearing, ignoring, bullying, sexual intimidation, discrimination on the basis of gender, race,
belief, sexual preference, disability or for any other reason; children are addressed by their name
and certainly not on their external characteristics or specific behavior;
4. ensures social safety during lessons, especially for the less gifted swimming students; unnecessary
comparison situations and situations that accentuate the physical appearance are avoided;
5. ensures that necessary physical contact is functional and cannot be misunderstood.
Functional contact such as technique, posture and breathing corrections are preceded as much as possible
by an announcement of the contact and are accompanied by an explanation of the reason for the contact.
D. The swimming pool employee in contact with parent(s)/guardian(s)
1. respects the parent(s)/guardian(s) in look, word and gesture;
2. deals correctly with the dominance resulting from the profession in contact with parent(s)/guardian(s);
3. provides honest and relevant information about the progress/performance and (movement)
behaviour to parent(s)/guardian(s) with regard to the swimming student;
4. is visible during the lesson situation.
If the situation requires a 1-on-1 setting, this will be in the presence
or direct visibility of the parent(s)/guardian(s) if possible.
If this is not possible, the employee will discuss this with the manager
and ask the parent(s)/guardian(s) for permission.
The pool employee will also report such a situation in the logbook;
5. realizes that certain instructional actions can be misunderstood by the parent(s)/guardian(s)
and can lead to accusations of (sexual) intimidation; is therefore always prepared to account for
the pedagogical approach followed/the method of instruction to the parent(s)/guardian(s) and manager.
The use of a pedagogical approach that is not applied as standard will be reported by the
pool employee in the logbook and to the parent(s)/guardian(s).
E. The swimming pool employee in contact with colleagues
1. refrains from any form of intimidation, namely: humiliating, threatening, coercing,
swearing, ignoring, bullying, sexual harassment, discrimination on the basis of gender,
race, belief, sexual preference, disability or for any other reason;
2. does not abuse in any way the power and dependency relationship that results from the profession;
both during work and outside of work and in any form of communication (for example social media);
3. enters a changing room, shower room or similar space, where a colleague is,
only after expressly obtaining permission from the colleague;
4. clearly indicates the boundary if a colleague insists on intimacy in any form or at any time;
this also applies if intimacy is insisted on via social media or other electronic means of communication;
5. respects the colleague in look, word, gesture and does not make video recordings,
unless the colleague himself requests the making of video recordings
and in that case in such a way that the colleague's dignity is not affected.

The fake swimming training in UAE gives you and children wrong swimming lessons it gives you and children these swimming techniques, freestyle, butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, front crawl, back crawl, medley, these are only meant for the Olympic swimmer and international swimming competitions.

these are the most important documents that The Netherlands is a global leader in swimming safety
and Royal Dutch Rescue Society (KNRM) 200 years.
The history of the KNRM goes back to 1824.
Rescuing shipwrecked sailors was not a given in 1824.
The Netherlands is a global leader in swimming safety
The Dutch system of swimming education and obtaining swimming diplomas is unique in the world.
The first Dutch Swimming Diplomas A will soon be awarded in China.
Ying Shi, owner of several swimming schools in the Chinese capital Beijing, has a mission in her country.
She wants to make China safer for swimming with the Dutch approach to swimming education.
Figures from the World Health Organization (WHO) show that the risk of drowning in the Netherlands is low compared to other countries in the world, despite the fact that the Netherlands is a water-rich country
and is largely below sea level.
Learning to swim well is and remains the best remedy against drowning.
The WHO has described the incidence of drownings in 116 different countries.
An incidence of 1.0 per 100,000 persons is stated for the Netherlands.
This puts the Netherlands in second place worldwide, after England.
The Netherlands has a long tradition of swimming lessons, which prepare children and adults
for the Dutch living environment with lots of water.
The first swimming lessons were given in Amsterdam in the mid-19th century.
We are now a century and a half further and there is an extensive network of swimming pools in our country, there are vocational training courses that provide well-trained swimming teachers and there are licensed swimming lesson providers who teach children and adults to swim.
With these swimming lesson providers you will learn the skills linked to the National Swimming Safety Standard, the National Swimming Diploma C.
All this is very important to achieve the goal of 'Make the whole of the Netherlands swimming safe'
and fortunately the number of drownings in the Netherlands in
the past twenty years has been shown to be to decrease further.
Chinese swimming school owner Ying Shi moved back to China with her family a few years ago after studying and working in the Netherlands for about 15 years.
Her young children took swimming lessons in China.
After a few months of swimming lessons, she noticed the difference between the progress in swimming skills of her children compared to the progress of children of friends who had swimming lessons in the Netherlands.
This is how her mission was born to introduce the Dutch vision on swimming safety
and swimming lessons in China.
Ying Shi returned to the Netherlands with several swimming teachers for training and to take a test,
so that examiners for diploma swimming are also available in China.
Now her swimming school, called Haimei, provides swimming lessons in Beijing for the Swimming ABC.
She also regularly travels through China to give presentations about the Dutch approach.
She has also given interviews for national radio and TV in China.
Province by province, she wants to increase swimming safety for China's almost 1.4 billion inhabitants
and the National Swimming Safety Council supports her in her mission.
The first swimming pool.
The first swimming devices appeared in the Netherlands in the early 1800s.
The facilities here were limited, these swimming facilities were often no more than
a jetty with a balustrade on the shore of canals or canal.
Dutch swimming started in 1870 with the Amsterdam Swimming Club,
making it the oldest swimming club in Europe.
The initiators wanted to promote the art of swimming, reward people for saving drowning people
and organize competitions - a distant predecessor of the Rescue Brigade.
Nowadays
Nowadays, 97% of teenagers have a swimming diploma
and the Netherlands has an extensive network of swimming pools.
Most complete with slides, wave pools or hot tubs.
There are also restaurants near the baths and you can store your clothes or
even your Cowboysbag or laptop bag in a locker.
This way you can easily go for a quick swim before or after work.
Outings with the whole family have also become an indispensable part of our society
and in many places school swimming is still extremely popular.
International Academy Institute Free willy orca swimming school United Arab Emirates is the right
swimming school for everyone to learn to swim safely.
I am the only one in the United Arab Emirates who has many years of experience, more than 30 years of experience in giving good swimming lessons.
I have been given a mission to provide safe swimming lessons to everyone in the United Arab Emirates.
Because too many people are drowning United Arab Emirates as adults and children and even
babies and disabled children and disabled adults.
Therefore, survival swimming technique is the important one in United Arab Emirates.
And that can only be learned through International Academy Institute Free willy orca swimming school
United Arab Emirates that survival swimming technique.
I give you 100% certainty that you can swim safely.
Royal Dutch Rescue Society (KNRM) 200 years.
HISTORY OF THE KNRM
The history of the KNRM goes back to 1824.
Rescuing shipwrecked sailors was not a given in 1824.
Only after a maritime disaster and a rare rescue attempt, in which six rescuers drowned,
did an organized rescue system emerge with rescue stations along the coast.
The history of the KNRM is fascinating, intriguing and comprehensive.
The development of rescue materials has made enormous progress.
Boats became more seaworthy and faster, the equipment safer, the volunteers more professional.
What has remained unchanged is the selfless dedication of our courageous volunteers.
They are still ready every day to save the lives of others.
The KNRM (Royal Dutch Rescue Company)
has been offering assistance 24/7 to people in trouble on the water since 1824.
This is done through the efforts of more than 1400 volunteers.
They work from the 45 rescue stations distributed along the coast, the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Islands,
using 75 rescue boats to offer the assistance required.
A professional organization supports the volunteers from its office in IJmuiden.
Surrounded by the past, on the way to the future.
A lot has changed in those 200 years: from rowing lifeboats to fast motor boats
and from cork life jackets to special survival suits.
What has not changed is that KNRM employees do the work completely free of charge and voluntarily.
We reflect on the past, commemorate the rescuers who gave their lives for others and look ahead to the future. The theme of 200 years of KNRM is therefore 'surrounded by the past, on the way to the future.'

Since 1984, the Netherlands has had the National Swimming Diploma,
which has been called Swimming ABC since 1998.
This diploma consists of three nationally recognised swimming diplomas; A, B and C.
The publisher is the National Swimming Safety Council, which is responsible for 95%
of the issuing of swimming diplomas in the Netherlands.
Those who have obtained all three are expected to be completely confident in the water
and to be able to save themselves in almost all possible situations.
Swimming safety plays a major role in the lesson structure for the swimming diploma.
It is taken into account that children from the age of four want to obtain a swimming diploma.
The requirements for the Swimming ABC include all the skills required for swimming in, for example, a subtropical swimming paradise or in open water.
They also learn how to act if they unexpectedly end up in the water.
The A-B-C structure of the diploma system makes the student more skilled and therefore safer in the water after obtaining each of the diplomas.
The focus is not on the technique of the swimming strokes, but mainly on moving safely
and freely in the water in all situations in which one may find oneself.
The exact requirements for the swimming diploma are published in the publication Examination Regulations National Swimming Diplomas and on the NRZ website
The examination regulations officially came into effect on 1 January 2018.
Until 1 September of that year, a transition period applied during
which the revised BREZ 2.0 that came into effect on 1 May 2010
(when the foundation was still called National Platform Swimming Pools|NRZ)
was still valid; since then, diplomas may only be swum according to the new guidelines.
Until September 2010, the BREZ from 1998
(the foundation was then called National Council for Swimming Diplomas) was still valid.
The abbreviated requirements are printed on the back of each diploma.
Those who have obtained the Swimming ABC have the predicate of swimming safe.
After obtaining the Swimming ABC, swimming skills can be further improved
with the subsequent general and specific swimming skills diplomas.
All these Dutch swimming diplomas are issued by the NRZ.
In addition, the ENVOZ foundation also issues swimming diplomas.
These diplomas are internationally recognized, but are considerably
less well-known than the NRZ diplomas.
ENVOZ is affiliated with the International Federation of Swimming Teacher Associations (IFSTA), a federation of organizations from more than 25 countries.
In 1890, the National Swimming Federation (later KNZB) started the first discussions about the "Experienced Swimmer" diploma and the "Swimming Master" diploma.
In 1892/1893, the first diplomas were actually awarded.
From that moment on, there were swimming diplomas in the Netherlands:
the National Swimming Federation soon issued the most swimming diplomas during
this period and was the only organization that issued national swimming diplomas.
In 1937, a "uniform Dutch Swimming Diploma" was issued for the first time,
quickly followed by four Swimming Proficiency Diplomas.
From that time on, the KNZB issued separate diplomas for school swimming
in addition to the regular swimming diplomas.
All these KNZB diplomas were transferred to the government by the German occupier in 1942.
A special aspect of this legislation was the separation between pupils and non-pupils.
Those who obtained their swimming diploma through school swimming received a diploma from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, non-school children received a KNZB diploma. This separation was maintained until 1984.
After the war, diploma swimming remained with the then ministers of CRM and Education. The KNZB was again charged with the implementation and supervision
of diploma swimming for non-school children.
The Ministry of Education, Culture and Science continued to
be responsible for the school swimming diplomas.
Later, the NCS was also allowed to issue swimming diplomas
and separate diplomas were also introduced for skipper children.
From 1946 to 1984, there were two swimming diplomas (Diploma 1 and Diploma 2).
The KNZB also had the Swimming Proficiency Diplomas A, B and C.
At the time, the KNZB assumed that young children of about
five years old were not really allowed to obtain a swimming diploma,
and this vision was also reflected in the strictness of the requirements.
This system was used in various variations from 1946 until 1984.
As of 1 August 1984, the diplomas of the KNZB, OC & W, NCS
and the diplomas for skippers' children were discontinued.
After that, a centrally issued national swimming diploma was launched,
partly at the request of the government.
The distinction between diplomas for pupils and non-pupils was
discontinued in this new swimming diploma.
The newly established National Council for Swimming Diplomas (NRZ)
was commissioned by the Ministry of WVC to carry out the task of issuing
and managing the National Swimming Diplomas.
How long does it take for a child to complete the full swimming ABC?
This is of course different for every child.
All children can learn to swim, but not all children take the same amount of time.
Eighty percent of children are average, ten percent obtain their diplomas faster
and another ten percent take longer.
This is very normal.
The fact that a child needs more practice than average can be related to motor skills:
not everyone develops at the same pace.
However, it often has to do with fear.
It makes a huge difference if you teach your child to get used to water in time.
Also remember that your own attitude can have an effect.
If you keep warning your child that water is ‘dangerous’, he/she may become afraid of it.
Does my child have to complete the full swimming ABC?
Yes, because only with swimming diplomas A, B and C is your child really prepared
for a lifetime of swimming fun.
The so-called Swimming ABC was developed in 1998.
With the arrival of swimming paradises with wild water slides and many new forms of recreation in,
on and near the water, children need different skills than before.
Children mainly learn these other skills during the lessons that prepare them for the C swimming diploma.
Unlike before, when there were only diplomas A and B, children really need diploma C.
What do we do after obtaining the swimming ABC?
Anyone who has obtained the Swimming ABC is ‘swimming safe’.
It is now especially important for young children to continue swimming regularly.
The skills that your child has learned can be maintained in this way.
What can I do as a parent to accelerate learning to swim?
You can make it easier for your child by swimming a lot.
Don't do exercises, but make swimming fun.
Go down the slide together or play games.
Your presence ensures that your child feels at ease in the water.
That gives self-confidence!
From what age do you start learning to swim?
The National Swimming Pool Platform NRZ believes that the sooner a child is safe in the water, the better.
After all, most children who drown are between 0 and 4 years old.
From a very young age, there are opportunities in the swimming pool to allow children
to move more safely in and around water.
The recommended age to start swimming lessons for the A diploma is 4 to 5 years.
There are parents who would rather start swimming lessons earlier,
namely when their child is 4 or even 3 years old.
The requirements for the A diploma are too difficult for a 3-year-old child to achieve.
Even a 4-year-old child has difficulty with the requirements.
In addition, a 4-year-old child also starts primary school.
This is a big change for a child, which costs a lot of energy.
Wait six months and the child will go through the swimming lessons more easily.
How long does it take for my child to obtain his or her swimming diploma?
As mentioned, every child learns to swim at his or her own pace.
Regardless of whether your child races through every step or needs a little more time,
a diploma is always well-deserved!
On average, most children take about 42 hours to obtain their swimming diploma A.
Then it often takes about 12 hours for diploma B and another 12 hours for diploma C.
Swimming activities prior to swimming lessons for diploma A
You can also go to The best International Academy Institute's Free Willy Orca Swimming School in
United Arab Emirates prior to swimming lessons for diploma A.
For example, you can choose from Pregnancy Swimming,
Baby and Toddler Swimming and Teddy Swimming.
It is very important to introduce your child to the water at a young age.
In addition, these swimming activities are also very enjoyable and provide new social contacts.
Can older children and adults also take swimming lessons?
You can learn to swim not only as a child, but certainly also at a later age.
For example, we also offer special swimming lessons for adults.
This is for everyone from the age of 16 who would like to learn to swim (better).
What should my child wear during swimming lessons?
It is very important that your child wears good and comfortable swimwear.
This is not only comfortable, it is also very hygienic.
The type or brand of swimwear does not matter, you can choose this yourself.
Can my child wear swimming goggles?
If your child's eyes are very sensitive to chlorine while swimming, for example, it is best to discuss with the swimming instructor whether and when swimming goggles may be used during lessons.
Swimming goggles are often not allowed during the swimming test.
The reason?
If your child unexpectedly ends up in the water, he/she will not be wearing swimming goggles
and your child must be able to save himself/herself.
Can my child fail during the swimming test?
A swimming instructor only lets his or her students swim for the test if he or she feels
that the children are going to pass the exam.
Ultimately, the examiners decide whether or not your child receives his or her diploma.
It is therefore possible that your child will fail the swimming test.
How long does it take for my child to get their A diploma?
That is the most frequently asked question to swimming lesson providers
when children start swimming lessons for the first time.
Perhaps the swimming diploma is the most important diploma
that your child will get in his or her life.
Then taking the time to learn it properly is a must.
But it is of course logical that you want an indication as a parent, so that you can prepare for it.
How many swimming lessons for diploma A?
Most children take about 48-50 hours to get their A swimming diploma.
Swimming lessons often do not take a single hour, but for example three quarters of an hour. Converted into swimming lessons of three quarters of an hour, that is more than 75 lessons.
If your child goes to swimming lessons once a week, that means
that you will be busy for about a year and a half.
Ten percent of children get their diploma faster and another ten percent take longer.
The B diploma and C diploma are often obtained faster:
after twelve and another twelve whole hours.
How many swimming lessons per week?
It doesn't matter whether you go twice a week or even three times a week to get the A-diploma.
Ultimately, your child will swim for about the same number of hours.
The swimming strokes really need to get into the 'muscle memory' of the child and this requires a lot of repetition. Of course, your child will be ready in a shorter period of time if he or she swims 2 or 3 times a week, or by means of a 'turbo course'.
How can I ensure as little delay as possible?
If you want your child to learn to swim as smoothly as possible and not suffer unnecessary delays, it is useful to know the following:
The more pressure you put on your child, the less confidence the child will feel.
This will cause the process to slow down rather than accelerate,
so be RELAXED, have confidence!
If you notice that your child is not yet ready for swimming lessons and is still a bit anxious, for example, practice together in the pool first to create more confidence.
This can save a lot of swimming lessons and frustrations
What can cause delays?
Delays can occur during the swimming process if:
* your child (still) has a fear of water, or you as a parent and (often unconsciously)
pass this on to your child.
* your child (or you as a parent) does not trust the swimming instructor.
* you as a parent are not involved and provide little support during learning to swim.
* the class group is very large and you see that there is little attention for your child and this almost every lesson.
* your child started swimming lessons too young and is still too playful and distracted too quickly.
* your child has difficulty with motor development.
* your child has difficulty learning a certain swimming technique.
* your child regularly suffers from, for example, an ear infection.
* etc.
Learning to swim takes time
Learning to swim takes time, just like everything we learn.
The more rest and time you take for it, the smoother it will (usually) go.
This will make it much more fun for your child and you as a parent!
RELAX and it will be fine🙂
How quickly will my child complete the Swimming ABC?
Once the National Swimming Diploma A has been obtained, the National Swimming Diploma B
and the complete Swimming ABC (= the National Standard for Swimming Safety) are also within reach.
The starting point for the average child to obtain diploma A is a lesson duration of 48 clock hours in total.
Diploma B requires another 12 clock hours, and C requires another 12 clock hours.
There are major differences between children in the Netherlands.
The total duration partly depends on the characteristics of the children.
For example, it sometimes takes a while before a child feels comfortable in water (no fear)
and one child picks up the technique of a swimming stroke more easily than another.
In addition, the quality of the instructors is crucial.
Being able to connect well as an instructor to the different children in
the group requires a lot of knowledge and expertise.
The total lesson duration does not depend on how often a child takes lessons per week.
It does not matter whether you take a lesson once, twice or even three times a week.
There are, however, questions about extremely short courses where children obtain
their diplomas within a limited number of weeks.
Although they meet the standards at that time, we think that
'quickly learned' also results in 'quickly forgotten'.
I am the only international swimming instructor who is allowed by the UAE government to give this A B C swimming certificate to anyone who takes proper swimming lessons.
No one else in the UAE is not allowed to give this swimming certificate.
This A B C swimming certificate is going to be implemented in the UAE soon and that is 100% true.
I am now allowed to give this A B C swimming certificate to anyone who takes proper swimming lessons at The best International Academy Institute's Free Willy Orca Swimming School in United Arab Emirates because I am the only one allowed by the UAE government.
Be careful with the fake swimming instructor in United Arab Emirates who are just Lifeguard and not a swimming instructor.
It is important in everyone's life to follow the right swimming lessons The A B C swimming certificate is the most important swimming certificate in your life, with which you can swim in all swimming pools in the world.
With the swimming certificate A you can prove that you can swim 100%.
And in addition there are also B C swimming certificates.
The best International Academy Institute's Free Willy Orca Swimming School in United Arab Emirates has been given permission to give swimming certificate A B C to everyone who follows the right swimming lessons.
The National Swimming Certificates are issued nationally by the National Council for Swimming Safety and consist of the Swimming ABC, the Swimming Certificates, National Snorkeling Certificates, National Survival Certificates and the Swimming Proficiency Certificates.
The Swimming ABC is the basis of good swimming lessons. You meet the National Standard for Swimming Safety if you have the National Swimming Certificate C from the National Council for Swimming Safety. Swimming safety can only be maintained through practice. It is important to keep swimming. This is possible with the follow-up offer after the Swimming ABC. The diploma lines from the follow-up offer are aimed at allowing children to enjoy the water even after obtaining the National Swimming Diplomas A, B and C in order to maintain their swimming skills.
Swimming Diploma A You have mastered skills for a swimming pool without attractions. Swimming Diploma A is the step towards Swimming Diploma B and the complete Swimming ABC.
Swimming Diploma B You have mastered skills for a swimming pool with attractions, such as a (wild water) slide, a wave pool and a rapid. Swimming Diploma B is the intermediate step towards Swimming Diploma C = National Standard for Swimming Safety.
Swimming Diploma C = National Standard for Swimming SafetyYou have mastered skills for a swimming pool with attractions and in open water without current or large waves, such as recreational lakes and wider ditches/canals (except in the sea). With this diploma you meet the National Standard for Swimming Safety.
Swimming certificates A, B and C The National Standard for Swimming Safety with the Swimming Diploma C is achievable for almost everyone. Special attention is paid to children with a (temporary) disability. A large number of these children obtain the swimming diploma, but when that takes a long time or is not feasible, there are the National Swimming Certificates A, B and C. Swimming certificates, like the Swimming ABC, are steps towards swimming safety. Each Swimming Certificate has a mandatory part, which includes a certain degree of swimming safety and an open part depending on the child's capabilities.
National Snorkel Diplomas The renewed National Snorkel Diplomas 1, 2 and 3 will be issued as of 1 June 2021 under the National Swimming Diploma License. During the snorkeling lessons, children build their fitness and learn the skills of snorkeling.
National Survival Diplomas The renewed National Survival Diplomas 1, 2 and 3 will be issued as of 1 January 2024 under the National Swimming Diploma License. During the survival lessons, children learn additional skills to save themselves if they unexpectedly end up in the water and what they should and should not do if a friend is in need.
Swimming proficiency diplomas Children who enjoy learning even more after obtaining the Swimming ABC can further improve their swimming proficiency with the general and specific Swimming proficiency diplomas.
* Swimming proficiency 1, 2 and 3: after the Swimming ABC, you can further improve your swimming proficiency and swimming safety with the Swimming proficiency diplomas.
* Aqua sports for Kids 1, 2 and 3: children between the ages of 6 and 12 learn to move to music in the water and to put together a dance together with other children.
* Jumping from the board 1, 2 and 3: children learn all kinds of jumps from the edge and from the board.
* World swimming strokes 1, 2 and 3: children travel around the world and through history and learn current and historical swimming strokes that are and were swimming all over the world.
* Synchronized swimming 1, 2 and 3: children learn the basics of synchronized swimming with ballet in the water.
* Water polo 1, 2 and 3: children learn the basics of water polo as a ball sport.

in the standard examination program.
This is because swimming lessons providers also have the option of developing their own customized exam program instead of the standard exam program and use it for diploma swimming.
The customized exam program must of course be equivalent in level to the standard exam program.
The National Swimming Safety Council therefore assesses the level of
the customized examination program in advance.
After approval by the council, a swimming lesson provider may use
the relevant customized program for diploma swimming.
This procedure ensures that, on the one hand, the examination program is optimally aligned
