'Fab, groovy, pop-music for discerning listeners'
(Louder than War)

Interesting Wallpaper have C86 jangle, classic indie charm and a playful sense of fun.
Fronted by Pete Harvey’s commanding vocals and electric guitar, alongside co-pilot Leyanne Coombs’ magnetic stage presence (complete with whirlwind spins and flying hair) their sound fuses raw power with musical depth. The band also features the nouvelle vague bass lines of Monsieur Alexandre Parent and the pagan tub thumping of Buz Ross. Their live shows ignite a mix of exuberance, intensity, and flair that captivates audiences of all ages.

Previous festival slots have included:- Wickham Festival, Ventnor Fringe Festival, Southampton Music in the City, Gabefest, Beggars Fayre and Southampton Beer Festival.  Support slots with Funk and the Two Tone Baby, Martin Stephenson (Daintees), Rozi Plain, Monochrome Set and Norway’s Flammer Dance Band.

With two No. 1 singles in the South Coast Music Chart 2024, and playing the IOW Festival 2025 they’re definitely a band on the rise!
