Interest Monitor is a tool that teachers worldwide can use to make keeping track of the classroom just that much more effortless. It utilizes the capabilities of OpenCV and TKinter to create a program that lets teachers monitor if the students are paying attention to the class. Using information about where the students eyes are looking, Interest Monitor tells the teacher when a student isn’t looking at the lesson at hand, and if the student is distracted by something for more than 10 seconds. When teachers use Interest Monitor, teaching around the world remotely can become just that much more effective.
