Prof. Iickho Song
Prof. Iickho Song (Fellow, IEEE) received the B.S.E. (magna cum laude) and M.S.E. degrees in electronics engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, South Korea, in 1982 and 1984, respectively; and the M.S.E. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA, USA, in 1985 and 1987, respectively.
He was a member of the Technical Staff at Bell Communications Research, Morristown, NJ, USA, in 1987. In 1988, he joined the School of Electrical Engineering, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Seoul, where he is currently a Professor Emeritus.
He has coauthored a few books including Advanced Theory of Signal Detection (Springer, 2002), Random Variables and Stochastic Processes (Korean, Freedom Academy, 2014), Probability and Random Variables: Theory and Applications (Springer, 2022), and Fundamentals of Order and Rank Statistics (Springer 2024); and has published papers on signal detection and mobile communications.
Prof. Song is a Fellow of the Korean Academy of Science and Technology (KAST), IEEE, IET, and Korean Institute of Communications and Information Sciences (KICS).
He has received several awards including the Young Scientists Award (KAST) in 2000, Achievement Award (IET) in 2006, and Hae Dong Information and Communications Academic Award (KICS) in 2006.
Prof. Aresh Dadlani
Aresh Dadlani (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran, in 2007 and 2010, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the School of Information and Communications, Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, Gwangju, South Korea, in 2015.
He held the position of Assistant Professor at the School of Engineering and Digital Sciences, Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan, from September 2017 to February 2022.
Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics and Computing, Mount Royal University, Calgary, Canada.
His research interests include modeling and analysis of complex system dynamics, network science, and applications of optimization techniques and modern queuing theory in wireless communication networks.

Prof. Muhammad Salman
Dr. Salman is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) – Pakistan. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Inha University, South Korea, with a joint M.S. degree in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Torino (Italy) and Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden), and a B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering from BUITEMS (Pakistan).
His international experience includes a year-long Postdoctoral position at KENTECH, South Korea; and five years as a Lab Engineer and Lecturer at Effat University in Saudi Arabia.
He also served as a Teaching Assistant at Inha University, where he taught various courses. His research focus spans Contactless Sensing, Computer and Wireless Networks, and Signal Analysis.
