The Future of Intelligent Manufacturing:
From innovation to implementation
The workshop will focus on bridging the gap between state-of-the-art innovation and industrial implementation for flexible manufacturing technologies. We will bring together a global community of manufacturing technologist across academia and industry, and openly discuss shopfloor challenges and bottlenecks, and aligning future innovation towards implementation.
The workshop will focus on four critical areas:
Connected Reconfigurable Manufacturing
Industrial Robotics and Automation
Human-Machine Interaction
AI-Enabled Manufacturing Capability.
Each topic will begin with a keynote address from a leading expert, providing an overview of the latest research trends. Following the keynote, a panel of academic and industry leaders will discuss the practical challenges and opportunities associated with implementing these technologies in real-world settings.
The workshop will also feature Impact Clinics, where students and early career researchers can present their innovations. Senior academics and industry professionals will offer feedback on how these ideas can be refined for greater industrial impact.
The event will conclude with a round-table discussion, summarizing key insights and identifying the challenges and opportunities in building the intelligent factories of the future. This workshop offers a unique platform for fostering collaboration between researchers and industry, encouraging innovation that drives tangible progress in manufacturing.
