About Dr. Chung

As a young researcher, I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science, a Master's Degree in Statistics, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, which has given me a strong interdisciplinary background. Currently, I am an Assistant Professor at Department of Computer Science & Information Engineering, National Central University. 

My research interests focus on the intersection of bioinformatics, genomics, and proteomics, harnessing the power of artificial intelligence and machine learning to push the frontiers of these fields. With a track record of remarkable research publications, I have made significant contributions to the scientific community, publishing over 30 papers in several top-tier international SCI journals. Among these, I am particularly proud of my influential publications, including a groundbreaking article in the highly acclaimed Nucleic Acids Research (IF: 19.160) and four papers in the prestigious Briefings in Bioinformatics (IF: 13.994). 

My contributions have been widely recognized and appreciated by the scientific community, with over 300 citations, an h-index of 11, and an i10-index of 12, highlighting the impact of my research. Furthermore, my multidisciplinary expertise enables me to excel in a wide range of research projects, making me an invaluable asset to any team. My exceptional research contributions are reflected in an impressive list of publications, including several influential papers that have significantly advanced the field.
