Dua for Coronavirus and other serious illness

“ALLAHUMMA INNI AUDHUBIKA MINAL BARASI, WAL JUNOONI, WALJUZAAMI, WA MIN SAYYIL ASQAAM.”

Oh Allah! I seek refuge in You from leprosy, insanity, mutilation and from all serious illness


‘Allahuma Barik lana fi Rajaba wa Sha’bana wa ballighna Ramadhan’

“O Allah, make the months of Rajab and Sha’ban blessed for us, and let us reach the month of Ramadan (i.e. prolong our life up to Ramadan, so that we may benefit from its merits and blessings).”

Dua # 1 : After Ruku (Before Sujud)

رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُحَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ

‘Our Lord, all praise is due only to You, praise which is abundant, excellent and blessed.’

Dua # 2 : Between 2 Sujud

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي، وَارْحَمْنِي، وَاهْدِنِي، وَاجْبُرْنِي، وَعَافِنِي، وَارْزُقْنِي، وَارْفَعْنِي

“O Allah forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, support me, protect me, provide for me and elevate me.”


Dua # 3 : Dua for last 10 nights of Ramadan

اَللَّهُمَّ اِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ ، تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي

'O Allah, you are the Forgiver, You love to forgive, so forgive me.'



Dua # 4 : From Sura Baqara

﴿رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَا أُمَّةً مُّسْلِمَةً لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ﴾

128) Our Lord, and make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our descendants a Muslim nation [in submission] to You. And show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.


Dua # 5 : Asking for Niamah in this life and Hereafter then protection from Helfire

﴿ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ﴾

"Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire." (Sura Baqara 201)

Dua # 6 : Dua for Protection from the punishment in the grave

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave. (Bukhari & Muslim)
