OFFICIAL RULES FOR THE COMPETITION
Participants may not hold any Bachelor Degree.
Calculators are not allowed.
There will be a written exam for qualifiers and an oral examination for the final rounds.
Participants will be given 1 hour to take a qualifying exam which will consist of 20-25 definite and indefinite integrals.
The top 8 students from the qualifying exam will take part in the final rounds of the bee.
The final round will start at 2 pm and there will be a seeded single-elimination playoff bracket.
In the playoffs, pairs of students go head-to-head to determine the Grand Integrator!
Students will be given the same integration problems for each round.
The winner of a bracket will be the person who finishes the problem correctly and the fastest.
Final round contestants must correctly evaluate indefinite and definite, proper and improper, single real variable integrals within an allotted time.
