On the first day of my internship on October 22, 2024, the first task I was given was to list as many work scopes as I could perform throughout my studies at UiTM Puncak Perdana, including updating the Cinema Stage production expense receipts (by printing and pasting them), completing proposal details (RFP), and reviewing the Unifi pitching references sent by Ms. Syakillah. I also had to read the proposal title, contact Iqiyi, and find the contact email of the PIC for Iqiyi, while learning the basics of Word, Excel, and proposal preparation. Additionally, I provided feedback on the proposal title and suggested a more appealing title, filled in details for Degup, and selected three proposal titles to be sent to Unifi. I also listed TV stations and OTT platforms in Malaysia in Excel to contact, sent emails to each TV station and OTT platform found for proposal evaluation, wrote a job offer letter for a Runner, and awaited responses from the TV stations and OTT platforms.
On the second day, I filled in all the Unifi templates along with the proposal titles that had been submitted, read and understood the other proposal titles submitted by Ms. Syakillah (Jodoh Bermantera, Remembering Grace, and Misteri Kampus Lama) under Degup and Sensasi, and saved each novelist’s portfolio in Google Drive and files. Admittedly, at first, I found it difficult to understand and grasp the concepts. In addition, I input all the important information regarding the proposal and Unifi templates into Google Drive, and after completing the templates, I obtained Ms. Syakillah’s signature before submitting the Unifi Proposal. Before submitting, I also reviewed all the forms that had been filled out and consulted Ms. Syakillah to ensure their accuracy and completeness.

On the third day, I was given various tasks that helped me develop a wide range of skills. My day began with reading the script of Jadikan Aku Bidadari (Samarinda TV3) for episodes 1 to 9 while taking detailed notes on the tasks that needed to be completed before the following week. I also carried out administrative tasks such as photocopying and pasting receipts for Cinema Stage Production, reviewing the Master Breakdown of Jadikan Aku Bidadari based on scenes and total numbering, and calculating the scenes. I printed the Cinema Stage company profile and scripts for episodes 1 to 15 of Jadikan Aku Bidadari for personal reading, as well as copying information from Puan Syakillah to be included in the poster for the upcoming job intake.
Next, I created an internship poster for the 2025 intake and sent it to Puan Syakillah for approval. I was also assigned to research and list novel publishers to find best-selling novels, create a schedule in Excel to organize the publishers and the contact persons, and send emails to these publishers for further collaboration. Additionally, I bound the printed company profile, stapled the printed scripts, and stored them in a file for easy access. I also saved all the proposals submitted by Puan Syakillah in Google Drive and conducted research on universities and higher education institutions related to the creative industry for future collaborations.
As part of my responsibilities, I wrote an official letter for collaboration in creative industry training programs and had it reviewed by Puan Syakillah before sending it to the heads of departments involved in filmmaking or creative arts. To finish off the day, I scanned documents, continued reading the script of Jadikan Aku Bidadari, and ensured I stayed organized to meet the deadlines for the upcoming tasks.
I carried out various tasks including submitting the proposal for Unimas to Ms. Syakillah, reading the reference paper titled "Langit" for Film to Funder and incorporating all the information into the proposal, and responding to inquiries from Publisher Fajar Pakeer Sdn Bhd HQ for an appointment with their team. Additionally, I learned about the tentative program example after establishing collaboration with the university, calculated the total cost for "Wanita Milik Kaiden," and created a plan for Cinema Stage Production Sdn Bhd regarding the addition of a studio, broadcasting, offline and online editing, greenscreen, graphics, and other related matters.
I also submitted the proposal to obtain contact persons (PIC) and evaluations for proposal submission, filled in information based on the link sent by Astro via Gmail, and placed the Cinema Stage Production plan into a corporate template as a presentation for the university or any related party. Furthermore, I printed each service contract for "Jadikan Aku Bidadari" and uploaded them to Google Drive, added the organizational chart and budgeting to Cinema Stage Production's planning, and informed Ms. Syakillah about the eBook sent by Publisher He Dynamic for their latest final year project (FYP). I also printed 10 sets of all the files sent by Ms. Syakillah (Shooting Schedule "JAB" from November 16 to November 30), the scene list for the cast of "JAB" for each character, and printed all episodes 1-20, 5 sets, and for episodes 3-20, 10 sets (printed in red only). Finally, I printed the "JAB" schedule for December 2024 and January 2025, 10 sets.

I inserted the Support Application letter using the letterhead and included Puan Syakillah’s signature for submission to MARA, printed the MyUsahawan Mara document that was submitted, and conducted research on Sabah Maju Jaya. I also read the information and created a slide presentation about the "Sabah Maju Jaya" documentary, followed up on F&B sponsorship, novel publishers, and clothing sponsors, and created a proposal for the Madani Government and YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Bin Ibrahim. Additionally, I presented the completed work regarding "Sabah Maju Jaya" and "Miskin Tegar," reviewed the required format for creating a proposal for the Madani Government, and printed one set of the "Sabah Maju Jaya" documentary. Lastly, I inserted the signature and full address into the Cinema Stage Production letterhead and referred back to the reference example previously sent by Puan Syakillah to include relevant information in the proposal slide for "Kerajaan Madani" and Anwar Ibrahim.

On December 27 at 8 AM, I completed and sent the video presentation about Sabah Maju Jaya to Puan Syakillah, responded to Publisher Buku Fixi regarding best-selling novels and the time frame for providing feedback, printed the MARA Assistance for Business Equipment Purchase document, read the documents sent by Puan Syakillah to check what needed to be filled out, printed the documents using the Cinema Stage Production letterhead, and printed the notification letter stating there are no employees.
I contacted the publisher, Bona Baca Publication, regarding the proposal for the novel titled "Anggun Isteri Yang Terkhianati" to be submitted to TV3, sent the publisher's response to Puan Syakillah, and inserted the information of the novel "Tamparan Wanita" into a PowerPoint presentation to be sent to Astro and TV3. I also printed the documents that were sent, inserted the letter of appointment into the letter, signed it, and converted it to PDF, created a new budgeting schedule for the Reference Proposal (Aaliyah Film) and additional actors, completed several proposals to be sent to OTT platforms, and revised the slide materials for the Cinema Stage production plan by removing any unnecessary content.

Read the CCRIS & eCCRIS Application Form to submit the company’s CCRIS, created a checklist and obtained price quotations for equipment purchases by requesting quotations from the contact numbers provided by Puan Syakillah, and sent 7 completed proposals for review by Puan Syakillah (Rindu Dalam Rahsia, Ramalan yang Terlupakan, Bukan Cinta Biasa, Jejak Kasih, Langit yang Terluka, Sampai Bila, and Hati yang Terluka). I also responded to inquiries from Bona Baca Publication, ensured the details of the equipment brand required for the equipment checklist, and waited for feedback from Puan Syeeda to obtain a quotation for submission to MARA.
At 9 AM, I sent 4 proposal titles along with the company profile via Gmail to Astro, then CC and BCC the email sent by Puan Syakillah, including the drama synopsis and moodboard that were sent, created a proposal for the TV3 drama, finalized the MARA checklist, and also created proposals for Jangan Pernah Ada Cinta, Rindu Tak Bertepi, and Bohong Sunat to submit via Gmail to Media Prima.

I sent the proposal for Anggun Isteri Yang Tersakiti from publisher Bona Baca Publication, ensured that the company details provided for the purchase of the company stamp were correct, and resent the proposal with the added updates. I also created an employee confirmation letter for a witness representative to RTM, reminded Puan Syakillah to pick up the company stamp from the shop, recalculated the quotation for equipment purchases, and added equipment and reference images to the Cinema Stage Production plan. Additionally, I attended a webinar session on copyright from RTM, referred to Puan Syakillah regarding the flow of the narrative to be included in the Cinema Stage Production plan, brought the file boxes for "WMK" and "JAB" to Puan Syakillah's room, and printed the official receipt letter (Finas).
I attended the Stakeholder Engagement Session and the Signing of the Agreement Letter (SST) for the RTM TV Program Procurement Phase 2 for 2024/2025 with Puan Syakillah, printed the undertaking letter format using the company letterhead and filled in the details, and ensured all letters and documents were brought. I also printed the Financial Certificate, found suppliers for goodie bags and mugs for coffee, along with the CaféLeaf background, to be given to the artists on the last day of shooting, conducted research on goodie suppliers, printed the SSM letter, and sent the reference proposal for the Reskyuu film.

Post the job hiring poster on social media for the new office, create a checklist for the affiliate's equipment on the Ground Floor with estimated prices, research packaging concepts for the vitamin products and send image references, print, stamp, and scan the SSM letter, stamp, fill in the name, and sign the letter from Puan Syakillah, attend the final day of shooting at Dash Box Hotel Cyberjaya with Puan Syakillah, capture behind-the-scenes photos and videos of "Jadikan Aku Bidadari," create social media content for the coffee product, and calculate the total expenses and office payments for the "WMK" and "JAB" files in Excel.
I organized each file by separating them into paper files and labeling them accordingly, while also double-checking and completing the total expenses and office payments, ensuring everything was organized by month and date. I separated the receipts and petty cash, sent the information about employee recruitment for both jobs and internships via Indeed, and forwarded the total expenses and office payments to Puan Syakillah. Additionally, I worked on creating proposals for the novels "Uthman Yunus Suami Untuk Wanita Pendosa" and "Lelaki Yang Kau Tindas" for TV3 and Astro, and made sure to separate the receipts and petty cash that had been transferred to be entered into Excel.
