Presentation materials that do not meet the requirements below will not be considered!
Structure of report materials:
The materials of the report should contain a statement of a practical problem, a list of problems to be solved, an outline of the essence of the research (text, graphics, drawings, screenshots, etc.), conclusions, a list of literary sources.
The summaries of reports with a volume of 4-8 pages of A5 format, book orientation, are submitted electronically in MS Word format in Times New Roman font, 12 pt with 1 spacing with alignment by width. Paragraph indent 0.8 cm. Indents: all page margins - 10 mm. Captions to figures and tables should be typed in Times New Roman font, 11 pt.
1. The arrangement of the material
The first line is UDC (alignment on the left edge). The UDC can be obtained from the scientific and technical library of NAU at the link.
If you skip a line, type the title of the thesis in CAPITAL BOLD LETTERS (Times New Roman, 12 pt, center alignment).
Skipping the line - P.I.B. authors with an indication of their academic degrees. If there are authors from different organizations, marks (1, 2) are made after the author's last name and before the name of the organization.
The next line - names of organizations/institutions are indicated in full, in italics, centered, font 11 pt, Times New Roman.
The next line - information about the scientific supervisor (if available) is indicated on the right, surname and initials, position, scientific degree are indicated in italics.
Skipping a line - abstract in the language of the article (Times New Roman, 11 pt., cursive), alignment by width.
Keywords - in the next line (Times New Roman, 11 pt., courses), width alignment.
Skipping the line - research materials (Times New Roman, 12 pt.) with a mandatory statement of the problem, a list of tasks to be solved, an outline of the essence of the research and the formulation of conclusions that must correspond to the task.
2. List of references
The list of information sources is given in the order of references in the text according to DSTU 7.1:2006 "Bibliographic record, bibliographic description. General requirements and drafting rules" and is placed after the main text. After indenting one free line from the main text, the word LITERATURE is placed in the center of the page. The font size is 11 pt. References to the list of information sources in the text are given in square brackets.
3. Abstract
After the list of references, there is an abstract in English in the following order:
The title of the article is in English. It is carried out in accordance with the requirements of paragraph 1 and is an authentic translation of the title in the language of the publication.
Author's initials and surname in English. It is carried out in accordance with the requirements of clause 1. The initials of the author and his surname are indicated in Latin transliteration, followed by the names of organizations in English.
The abstract in English begins with the word "Abstract", font Times New Roman, 11 pt., courses, space before - 6 pt., width alignment.
Key words in English. The list of keywords begins as "Keywords:" font Times New Roman, 11 pt., strokes, width alignment
Note: For materials prepared in Ukrainian, the second abstract is given in English. For materials written in English, the second abstract is given in Ukrainian.
4. Rules for the design of formulas
Formulas are created as separate objects in the Microsoft Equation or MathType formula editor, are located in the center and are numbered within the article, the number in parentheses is pressed to the right side of the sheet. Default editor customization options. The formula must be followed by a punctuation mark, and if the formula contains explanations, they must start on a new paragraph with the word "where" without indentation.
5. Rules for design of drawings and tables
Figures and tables are placed with alignment in the center of the page, without wrapping around the text and without going beyond the type field. Schemes and diagrams should be submitted without gradient fills.
Tables should be compact, have a name and a number (if there are two or more tables). Abbreviations in the name of the tables are not allowed. Digital material is provided with statistical processing.
Figures and tables must be submitted in the article immediately after the text where they are mentioned for the first time. Each formula, table, figure, graph must be referenced in the text. Formulas to which there are references are numbered with Arabic numerals in round brackets to the right.
Illustrative material should be submitted in TIF, JPG formats with a resolution of at least 300 dpi for black and white images and at least 600 dpi for color images.
