Instructional design 101

Welcome to the world of instructional design!

Learning doesn't stop after high school. Wether it be continuing education in college or training on the job, in one way or another, everyone is a life-long learner. When you start a new job and receive on-the-job training, someone has to plan and create that training for you. If you go to college, someone has to design and develop the curriculum. That's where an instructional designer comes into the picture. The job of an instructional designer is to assess learning needs and design the tools, programs, and materials needed to meet those needs through collaboration. This website is a tool to introduce you to the exciting world of instructional design.
