Staff

Miss Lauren has been dancing since age three. She began studying dance under the direction of Sheri Dumas at Miss Sheri's School of Dance in Lincoln, RI. While attending the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, Miss Lauren found ways to further her love for dance by becoming a member of the Dynamic Motion Dance Team (now UMass Pulse Dance Company) and enrolling in non-major dance courses. Miss Lauren is working towards her Acro Dance Teacher Association's Junior Certification.

Miss Lauren earned a BA in Psychology with minors in education and history from UMass. She holds a Masters in Education from the university and is a licensed middle school English teacher. She will begin her 16th year teaching this fall for the Fall River school department.

Miss Hannah has been dancing for over 20 years. She is a graduate of Seekonk High School and has taken courses at both Rhode Island College and CCRI and is currently in a leadership role at Target in Warwick. Previously, she helped run the YMCA's summer dance sessions in Lincoln. Miss Hannah is our resident tap expert and leads the InStep Dance Studio Competitive Team.

Miss Kianna has been a member of the InStep family for more than 15 years. She is a graduate of East Providence High School and has completed courses at CCRI for her medical assistant certificate. She works with many of our classes and choreographs for our Beginner I and II, Intermediate I, and Advanced Hip-hop classes.

Teaching Assistants

Miss Aryana has been dancing for 14 years. She takes ballet, tap, jazz, and hip-hop classes. She has been on the competitive team for two years. She will be assisting with our Beginner III class on Mondays.

Miss Allison has been dancing at the studio for 9 years. She is enrolled in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and acro classes. She is a member of our competitive team and will be assisting with our Beginner I ballet/tap and Beginner I hip-hop classes on Friday.

Miss Lena has been dancing for 11 years. She is enrolled in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and acro classes. She is a four-year member of our competitive team. She will be assisting with our Beginner III class on Mondays.

Miss Harley has been dancing at the studio for 11 years. She takes tap, jazz, acro, ballet, hip-hop, and just completed her first year on the competitive team. She has will be assisting with the Intermediate I class on Wednesdays.

Miss Charlotte has been dancing with us for 12 years. She takes ballet, tap, jazz, acro, and hip-hop. She is also a member of our competitive team. She assists in with our Acro I and Acro II classes on Saturday mornings.

Teaching Alum

Miss Miley

Miss Miley has been dancing for 15 years at the studio and was a member of our competitive team. She will be a freshman at Dean College this fall. When she is home, she will be helping with our Beginner I and III and Intermediate I classes.

Miss Lilly

Miss Lilly is currently a senior at the University of New Hampshire. She is member of their Wildcat Dance Crew, an all female hip-hop and dance group. When her schedule allows she assists with choreography for the Advanced Hip-hop class.

Miss Victoria

Miss Victoria is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island where she earned her BSN. She currently works as an RN at Women & Infants. While at URI, she was a 4 year member of the URI Dance Company. And when she is able she returns to dance and assist with classes.
