Hi there, Terri here! Today I am sharing a Valentine's Day card using the newly released Sixties Sunshine Complete Bundle. I will be giving it a softer, more feminine look than I did in my previous card.

I started by stenciling the Sixties Sunshine floral image onto white smooth cardstock. I used a combination of Rouge, Canyon Clay, Sunkissed, and Rocky Shore Crisp Dye Inks. I used a small blending brush to add the inks with a soft hand, making sure to give each flower some of each color.

While this dried, I used the XOXO & More Die Set to cut the sentiment. I cut the shadow layer from Brushed Rose Metallic Cardstock and the top layer from black card, which I backed using some Double-Sided Adhesive Sheets, this makes intricate die cuts so much easier to adhere.

To pull everything together, I adhered the embossed panel to an A2 note card using Instant Dimension Foam Tape. I then added the sentiment on top of some black thread again, using foam tape for added dimension.

The second card was created by masking a diagonal rainbow with only Post-It tape. I masked off each stripe and blended the colors using a Mini Round Blending tool. I also added some drawn hearts and dots using the same white gel pen.

I have to say that I had a lot of fun creating these easy cards! I participate in a card project where volunteers create cards for residents of a local care facility. The residents of this facility are seniors who have no family to care for them. Providing cards each month lets them know someone cares. This initiative is in its 3rd or 4th year and the residents greatly look forward to receiving cards!

Why have only one heart when you can have three. Simply cut out three hearts each one slightly smaller than the other. Layer them with the biggest one glued in place on the card. The next two fold in half and glue along the ridge.
