Instaloader allows users to upload Instagram chat export files, convert them into PDF or Word documents, and download or preview the converted files. The app uses a coin-based system to manage conversion credits.
Account Information: Name and email address collected via Google/Firebase Authentication.
Uploaded Files: Instagram chat export files (JSON format) you upload for conversion.
Custom File Names: Names you assign to your converted documents.
Usage Data: Conversion history, coin transactions, and file metadata (page count, file size).
Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app version.
Authentication Tokens: Firebase authentication tokens for secure session management.
We use your information strictly to:
Authenticate your identity and manage your account.
Process and convert your uploaded chat files.
Track coin balances and deduction transactions.
Store converted files securely for download.
Improve app performance and fix bugs.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Uploaded and converted files are stored on Cloudflare R2 encrypted storage.
All files are encrypted before upload and decrypted only during download.
Files are stored under your unique user ID and are accessible only by you.
Account information and transaction history are stored in Google Firestore.
Authentication is handled securely via Firebase Authentication.
Uploaded source files and converted output files are encrypted and securely stored in servers until you choose to delete them manually through the app.
We recommend deleting your files through the app after downloading your converted documents for added privacy and security.
Transaction records are retained for billing and support purposes.
We take data security seriously:
All files are AES encrypted before being stored on our servers.
All data transmission between the app and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.
Firebase Authentication ensures only you can access your files and account.
We do not store your Instagram credentials or passwords at any point.
You have the right to:
Access your personal data and conversion history at any time within the app.
Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.
Delete your files through the app after downloading your converted documents, we recommend doing this for extra privacy and security.
Opt out of any non-essential communications from us.

Instaloader is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately
