InstaAudit is a Chrome extension that helps users create local Instagram profile audit reports from publicly visible Instagram profile pages.

Information the extension processes

When a user runs InstaAudit on a public Instagram profile, the extension may process visible website content from the active browser tab, including public profile text, profile statistics, public post information, visible screenshots, and public profile images.

This information is used only to generate the Instagram audit report requested by the user.

Local processing

InstaAudit processes report data locally in the user’s browser. The extension does not require an Instagram login, does not ask for Instagram credentials, and does not send audit data to an external server.

Local storage

InstaAudit may store the latest audit report data and limited local audit history in the user’s browser storage. This is used to open the report preview page and generate the downloadable PDF report.

Users can remove this local data by clearing Chrome extension storage, removing the extension, or clearing browser data.

Data sharing

InstaAudit does not sell user data. InstaAudit does not transfer user data to third parties. InstaAudit does not use user data for advertising, credit decisions, lending, or unrelated purposes.

Remote code

InstaAudit does not use remote code. All required JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and report-generation libraries are included inside the extension package.

InstaAudit is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Instagram or Meta.
