EEU

Energy & Environment Unit (EEU) is one of the three research units of INST Mohali. EEU carries out cutting-edge research to solve problems related to energy and environment. Our aim is to use nanomaterials that can lead to clean environment, renewable energy and better healthcare.

Our major research areas are Catalysis, Electrochemistry, Soft organic materials, Polymer & Supramolecular chemistry and Spectroscopy with applications in Energy storage & conversion, Flexible optoelectronics, Sensing, Single-molecule imaging and Therapeutics.

The materials that we work on include 2D nanomaterials, COFs & MOFs, Functional hybrid nanomaterials,| Luminescent materials, Metal & Organic nanoparticles, Plasmonic nanostructures, Push-pull chromophores, Perovskites and Quantum dots.
