Hello! My name is Samantha Reyna, and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! I graduated from North Shore Senior High School, where I was actively involved in both the Debate Club and Art Club throughout all four years of high school. After graduating, I earned my Associate of Arts degree from San Jacinto College North before receiving my Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Houston Clear-Lake. I am a proud bilingual educator and a homegrown Galena Park ISD graduate, so it is especially meaningful to return and teach in the district that helped shape me.

Outside of the classroom, I love traveling, hiking, and trying new outdoor adventures. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, exploring new restaurants, and making memories wherever I go. I am excited to get to know each of my students and their families, and I look forward to a wonderful school year together!

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Samantha Reyna y estoy muy emocionada de ser la maestra de su hijo(a) este año. Me gradué de North Shore Senior High School, donde participé activamente en el Club de Debate y el Club de Arte durante los cuatro años de preparatoria. Después de graduarme, obtuve mi título de Asociada en Artes (Associate of Arts) en San Jacinto College North y posteriormente mi licenciatura en Educación en la University of Houston–Clear Lake. Me enorgullece ser una educadora bilingüe y exalumna de Galena Park ISD, por lo que es muy especial para mí regresar y enseñar en el distrito que contribuyó a mi formación.

Fuera del salón de clases, me encanta viajar, hacer senderismo y probar nuevas aventuras al aire libre. También disfruto pasar tiempo con mi familia y amigos, conocer nuevos restaurantes y crear recuerdos inolvidables dondequiera que voy. Estoy muy emocionada de conocer a cada uno de mis estudiantes y a sus familias, y espero que juntos tengamos un maravilloso año escolar.
