This Privacy Policy applies to the InspiroZen mobile application (hereby referred to as the "Application") created by Arun Kumar, doing business as InspiroZen (hereby referred to as the "Service Provider," "we," "us," or "our"), based in India.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the InspiroZen Android application available on Google Play Store. By using the Application, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
When you use the Application, we automatically collect the following information:
- Anonymous user ID (Firebase Authentication) — used to associate your favorites, bookmarks, and submissions with your device across sessions
- Device information — model, operating system version, app version, language settings
- IP address — automatically logged by our backend services
- Approximate location — country and region derived from your IP address (NOT GPS or precise location)
- Mobile Advertising ID — used by Google AdMob for ad delivery
- Push notification token (FCM) — used for daily quote notifications
- App usage data — which screens you view, swipe patterns, time spent in the app, favorited and bookmarked quote IDs
- Crash reports — error logs to help us fix bugs
When you use the Community feature, you provide:
- Quote text you submit (optional author attribution)
- Selected category for your submission
The Application does NOT collect:
- Your name, email address, or phone number (no account registration required)
- Your physical address
- Your precise GPS location
- Your photos (the Wallpaper Maker reads images you select on-device but does not upload or store them)
- Your payment card information (Google Play handles all payments)
- Your contacts, calendar, microphone, or camera data
- Biometric, health, financial, or other sensitive personal data
- Your race, religion, sexual orientation, political opinions, or any special category data
The Application does NOT use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data or generate content. All quotes are pre-written human content.
The Application does NOT track your precise GPS location.
We use the collected information to:
- Provide and maintain the Application's features
- Save your preferences (language, theme, font size, notification settings)
- Track your engagement and personalize your experience
- Send you push notifications (daily quote reminders that you can disable anytime)
- Display advertisements through Google AdMob (free-tier users only)
- Process Premium subscription payments through Google Play Billing
- Identify and fix bugs through Firebase Crashlytics
- Understand which features users find valuable through Firebase Analytics
- Moderate community submissions
- Respond to your inquiries when you contact us
- Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud
The Application uses the following Google services. Each has its own privacy policy that governs how they handle your data:

We may disclose your information:
- As required by law (subpoena or similar legal process)
- When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud or respond to a government request
- With trusted service providers (listed above) who work on our behalf, do not have independent use of the information, and have agreed to similar privacy obligations
- In the event of a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or sale of assets)
InspiroZen displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may use the Android Advertising ID, approximate location (country/region from IP address), and device information to deliver relevant ads.
Personalized Ads Opt-Out: You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time by:
- Visiting https://adssettings.google.com
- Going to your device Settings → Privacy → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization (or Reset Advertising ID)
- Subscribing to InspiroZen Premium, which removes all ads
Non-personalized ads may still be shown to free users even after opting out, but they will not be tailored to your interests.
InspiroZen Premium is a paid subscription processed through Google Play Store. Pricing varies by region and is displayed in your local currency before purchase.
- Auto-Renewal: Premium subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Cancellation: You can cancel anytime through Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → InspiroZen → Cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain Premium access until then.
- Refunds: Subject to Google Play's refund policy. Contact Google Play support directly for refund requests.
- Payment Information: All payment processing is handled by Google Play. We never have access to your credit card, debit card, or banking details.
The Application allows users to submit motivational quotes through the Community feature. By submitting content, you grant InspiroZen a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, transferable license to display, distribute, translate, modify, and use your submission within the Application. You retain ownership of your content.
We reserve the right to moderate and remove submissions for any reason, including but not limited to: copyright infringement, offensive content, hate speech, harassment, spam, advertising of unrelated products or services, or violations of our Terms of Service.
You warrant that you have the legal right to submit any content you upload and that your submission does not infringe on any third party's rights, including copyright, trademark, or privacy rights.
The Application sends push notifications to deliver daily quotes and reminders. You can disable notifications at any time:
- In the Application: Settings → Notifications → Daily notification (toggle off)
- On Your Device: Settings → Apps → InspiroZen → Notifications (toggle off)
We retain your data as follows:
- Anonymous user ID and associated data (favorites, bookmarks, engagement history): Until you request deletion or 24 months after your account becomes inactive
- Community submissions: Until you request deletion or removal by moderators
- Crash reports: 90 days (Firebase default)
- Analytics data: 14 months (Firebase default)
- Subscription records: As required by law (typically 7 years for tax and audit purposes)
When the retention period ends, we delete or anonymize the data such that it can no longer be associated with you.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing inspirozen.support@gmail.com. Within 30 days, we will:
- Delete your community submissions
- Delete favorited and bookmarked quotes associated with your anonymous user ID
- Remove any cloud-stored preferences and engagement data
- Confirm completion of deletion via email
Local data on your device can be deleted by:
- Uninstalling the application, OR
- Going to Settings → Apps → InspiroZen → Storage → Clear Data on your Android device
Note: Aggregated crash reports and analytics data may be retained by Google's services per their respective privacy policies, even after your account is deleted. These aggregated records cannot be linked back to you individually.
The Application is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child under 13 has used the Application or provided us with personal information, please contact us at inspirozen.support@gmail.com. We will take steps to delete that information promptly.
Depending on your country of residence, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information.
For Users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland (GDPR):
- Right to access the data we have about you
- Right to request correction of inaccurate data
- Right to request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Right to data portability
- Right to object to processing
- Right to restrict processing
- Right to withdraw consent at any time
- Right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
The legal bases for our processing under the GDPR include: your consent, performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests (for analytics, security, and service improvement), and compliance with legal obligations.
For Users in California (CCPA/CPRA):
- Right to know what personal information is collected and disclosed
- Right to delete personal information
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information
- Right to opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (we share data with Google AdMob, which California law treats as "sharing")
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect sensitive personal information)
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights
We do NOT sell your personal information for monetary value.
For Users in Canada (PIPEDA):
- Right to access your personal information
- Right to challenge the accuracy of your data
- Right to know the purpose of data collection
- Right to withdraw consent
For Users in Other US States (Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Florida, Iowa, Indiana, Tennessee, Montana, Delaware, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, and others):
- Rights similar to California's CCPA, including access, correction, deletion, and opt-out of targeted advertising and profiling
To exercise any of these rights, email us at inspirozen.support@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days (or 45 days in California). We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
If you are located outside India, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries where Google's servers operate, including the United States, the European Union, and India. By using the Application, you consent to this transfer.
Google's services rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission to ensure adequate protection for international data transfers from the EEA, UK, and Switzerland.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
- All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
- Firebase Security Rules restrict access to user data
- Google Play Billing uses PCI-compliant payment processing
- Anonymous authentication means there are no passwords to compromise
- Regular security updates through Firebase and Google Play Services
While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities within the timeframes required by applicable law (e.g., 72 hours under GDPR).
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy. For material changes, we may also notify you through an in-app notification or by other reasonable means. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
By using the Application, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
