My Philosophy
To provide a caring and nurturing environment where the children develop a strong sense of confidence, belonging, being and becoming; taking responsibility for their actions and well being.
Smaller ratio of children to educator for family day care allows for stronger bonds to form, closer friendships, and a better connection with the supervision and care of the children.
I believe in providing an educational program that will cater for the interests and needs of each child in care; while equipping them with a range of important life skills. I want to support each child in their journey through childhood so that they feel they can achieve anything they set their mind to.
I value building relationships with families and engaging parents in their children’s learning and development. I encourage parent suggestions and sharing of their traditions and culture into the children’s learning. Open and honest communication is essential to providing the best most effective caring environment.
I strive to make sure families feel comfortable about leaving their children. I believe open communication with families is a must and I will strive to be open, honest and for excellence within my daycare and focus on positive outcomes at all times. I strive to provide every child in care a happy learning experience daily, where children will be helped to become confident and creative individuals.
I hope that the families I take on as clients will be willing to work with me in providing care for their child/children and together we can have consistency in the goals of growth and development we are trying to help each child achieve.
