About Katelyn Wong
Katelyn is a college student and art devotee who specializes in semi-realism styles and watercolor portrait paintings. In her work, she emphasizes the portrayal of the flow of emotion and detail to catch the eyes of the audience. She constantly tries to draw upon real life situations, blending it with romanticism styles, in order to depict the different perspectives people have on the tangible world.
Ever since she could remember, Katelyn has constantly immersed herself into the pages of her sketchbook. In 6th grade, she began taking formal art courses, becoming further captivated by the potential of art to portray different stories. Art slowly became more than a passion; it constituted a large part of her identity and daily life. She plans on eventually studying art in college.
Katelyn has a YouTube channel that she started several years ago where she posts videos on her artwork processes as well as tutorials. She recently started taking commissions from different clients.
