INS Mob Access is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) based mobile access application developed to enable secure communication between a mobile phone and an ESP32-based access reader device. The application allows users to use their mobile phone as a digital ID card to access authorized areas by tapping or connecting to the reader device.

We value your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how the application handles permissions and data.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

INS Mob Access does not collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive user data.

The application operates primarily through local Bluetooth communication between the mobile device and the ESP32 reader. The app does not transmit personal data to external servers unless required for authentication configured by the organization using the system.

Permissions

INS Mob Access may request the following permissions solely to provide its core functionality:

Bluetooth / Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
Required to establish communication between the mobile device and the ESP32 access reader. This allows the mobile device to function as a digital ID card for authentication.

Nearby Devices / Location (if required by Android for BLE scanning)
Some Android versions require location-related permissions for Bluetooth scanning. These permissions are used only to detect and communicate with the ESP32 reader device.

These permissions are used only for device authentication and communication and not for collecting personal data.

Mobile ID Access Function

INS Mob Access allows users to use their mobile phone as a digital access credential.
When a user approaches an ESP32 reader, the application communicates with the reader through Bluetooth to verify access and allow entry if authorized.

All communication occurs locally between the mobile device and the ESP32 reader.

Data Sharing

INS Mob Access does not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties.

Data Security

Since INS Mob Access does not collect or store personal data on external servers, the risk of data exposure is minimized. All authentication communication occurs locally between the mobile device and the ESP32 reader.

Children’s Privacy

INS Mob Access is not intended for children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
