I am a PhD student of the XL cycle at the "Dipartimento di Matematica e Applicazioni" in Milano-Bicocca. My research focuses on finite permutation groups, in particular on permutations that do not fix any point.
When I’m not thinking about maths, I enjoy dancing, watching movies, going shopping, and I’m definitely a dog person.
Emma Beligni
I'm a PhD student at the University of Milano-Bicocca. My research area is celestial mechanics; more specifically, I work on the circular restricted three-body problem to understand the dynamics of comets and asteroids.
When I'm not chasing asteroids around, you'll find me with a coffee in hand, cuddling my pets, getting lost in a good book, or just having a nice chat!
Salvatore Lincastri
I'm a PhD student in Matemathics at University of Milano-Bicocca. My research interests include Riemaniann geometry and Geometric analysis, in particolar I'm focusing on the study of harmonic functions on manifolds and their relation with the geometry of the space.
Davide Meroni
I'm a PhD student in the 41st cycle at the Department of Mathematics and Applications at the University of Milano-Bicocca. My research mainly focuses on hyperbolic systems of conservation laws with relaxation.
In other words, I spend a lot of time studying how complex systems evolve towards equilibrium — and when I try to do the same myself, I usually watch a Studio Ghibli movie, go hiking, or cook some pasta dishes.
Marialetizia Mosconi
I'm a PhD student of the 40th cycle at the "Dipartimento di Matematica e Applicazioni" at the University of Milano-Bicocca and my research focuses on Finite Element. Essentially, I discretize stuff over triangles while ensuring that no terms blow up.
Salad is one of my favourite foods, and a dash of maths always makes things better. So, not by chance, here I am.
