Inquisitive Kids is a registered family child care home licensed by the state of Texas. Providing quality multilingual education with full classroom and preschool curriculum, including reading nook, craft activities, music and dance. Offering age appropriate development programs for ages 18 months to 5 years with high quality indoor and out door play spaces. Conveniently located in the Legends Run neighborhood in Spring, Texas, close to the Broadway, Birnham Woods and Snyder Elementary Schools. Offering before & after school hours and school transportation. Serving home cooked meals including breakfast, lunch and snacks.

Hours: 7:30am–6pm, Monday through Friday. Extended care hours available by appointment

About the Director

Hello everyone! My name is Barbara Kabanu and I have been working with children professionally since 2017. Before opening my licensed home-based day care in 2021, I owned the Kids Gym of the Woodlands and worked with the Journey school as a trained Montessori educator with special needs children. These experiences taught me that all child may struggle at some point in their development, whether it be with speech, social connections, sensory overload, etc. We can over come!

I have a certification in Early Childhood Education and degrees in Occupational Therapy and International Hospitality. I speak three languages and incorporate multilingualism in my child care curriculum.
