Welcome to the support page for Input Hydration! We're here to help you get the most out of your water tracking app. Below are some common questions and troubleshooting tips to ensure you have a smooth experience.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. How do I track my water intake?
On the main page of the app, you'll find options to log 8 oz, 12 oz, 16 oz, or 20 oz of water. Simply tap the button corresponding to the amount of water you just drank, and it will be added to your daily total.
2. How do I set a daily water goal?
Tap the Daily Goal button to choose your daily water intake goal. You can select from 80 oz, 110 oz, 150 oz, or 200 oz. Your progress toward this goal will be tracked throughout the day.
3. Can I undo or reset my water intake?
Yes! If you've made a mistake, simply tap the Undo Last Intake button to remove the last logged entry. If you want to start over, tap the Reset Full button to clear your progress for the day.
4. How does the water bottle visual work?
The horizontal water bottle on the main page fills up as you log water throughout the day, showing your progress toward your daily goal. Once you've met your goal, the bottle will be completely full! The bottle resets every 24 hours, along with your progress.
5. How do notifications work?
You can enable or disable reminders by tapping the notifications button in the top right corner, next to the dark/light mode toggle. Notifications will remind you to drink water every 1.5 hours between 8 AM and 8 PM.
6. How do I enable dark mode?
Tap the dark/light mode button in the top right corner to toggle between dark and light modes. The app will remember your preference for future use.
7. I’m using an iPad/iPhone SE, and the buttons look different.
Input Hydration is optimized for both iPads and iPhones, including the 5.5-inch iPhone SE screen. On smaller screens, the Reset and Undo Last buttons may be adjusted to ensure all content fits comfortably.
8. What is the loading screen?
When you open the app, you’ll see a loading screen for 1 seconds while the app prepares to display your water tracking information. This screen includes a progress bar to let you know it’s working.
Troubleshooting
1. My water intake isn’t saving.
Make sure your app is up to date. Try closing and reopening the app. If the problem persists, you can reinstall the app without losing your progress.
2. I’m not receiving notifications.
Check that notifications are enabled for Input Hydration in your phone’s settings. Also, remember that notifications only work between 8 AM and 8 PM.
3. My water bottle visual isn’t filling up.
Ensure that you’ve logged your water intake using the appropriate buttons on the main page. If the bottle isn’t updating, try resetting your progress by tapping Reset Full.
4. The app won’t load past the loading screen.
If the app gets stuck on the loading screen, try restarting it. If this doesn’t work, ensure your device has the latest updates, and check for an app update in the App Store.
