inprep.ai (“we,” “us,” “our”) is committed to protecting user privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use, store, and share it, and your rights over that data. It applies to all users of our mobile app distributed via Google Play Store and in‑app services, including subscription/paid interviews.

Information We Collect

A. User-Provided Information

• Sign-up & Profile Data: email, password, name, resume/CV content or manually entered career details.
  
  

• Video Interview Responses: recorded video and audio captured via device camera when giving mock interviews (free and paid).
  
  

• Payment Info: billing name and contact details when subscribing via third‑party payment gateway (we do not store full payment credentials).
  
  

B. Automatically Collected Data

• Device identifiers, mobile operating system version, app usage logs, timestamps.
  
  

• IP address and location metadata for performance, analytics, and security.

Purpose of Collection & Legal Basis

• Registration & Authentication: to let you securely create and access your account.

• Profile Creation & Personalization: to generate AI-enhanced user profile from resume or manual input.

• Interview Services & Scoring: to record and analyze interview performance, and generate feedback.

• Diagnostics & Improvements: to monitor app usage, fix issues, and improve features.

• Legal & Fraud Prevention: to comply with laws and detect abuse.

• Payments & Subscriptions: to process purchase of interviews and subscription plans.
  
  

Your consent (during sign‑up and camera/video usage) and our legitimate interests (delivering service, securing the app) form our legal bases for processing.

Third‑Party Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. However, we may share:

• With payment processors (e.g. Stripe, Google Play billing) strictly for subscription payment.

• With AI processing providers only in anonymized or user‑consented form, to analyze video and generate scoring/program output.

• With law enforcement or regulators if legally required.

• With service providers (hosting, backup, analytics) under contractual confidentiality and data‑protection obligations.

Data Retention & Deletion

• Account/profile data is retained until account deletion.

• Interview recordings and results are stored indefinitely unless you request deletion.

• You may request full deletion of your account and associated data at amit@hyrworx.com

• Post‑deletion, we’ll anonymize performance statistics but permanently remove personal identifiers.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards such as encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, access controls, and periodic security audits to protect user data.

Children’s Privacy

Our app is intended for users aged 18 or above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware of an account belonging to someone underage, we will delete it promptly.

Your Rights

Under applicable laws (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you may:

• Access your personal data.

• Update or correct it.

• Request deletion.

• Object to or restrict certain processing.

• If applicable, withdraw consent.
