About
The Theoretical Physics team of INPHYNI (Institut de Physique de Nice), Université Côte d'Azur & CNRS, France, is presently composed of thirteen persons. Its research activity covers several themes relating to condensed-matter physics, atomic, molecular, and optical physics, nuclear physics, network physics, quantum chromodynamics, general relativity, and quantum foundations. It also commits to a mission of knowledge transmission through teaching and supervision activities at the physics department of Université Côte d'Azur and at Polytech Nice-Sophia. Tony Jin and Stefano Scopa organise the Nice conference on Non Equilibrium Statistical Physics (NICENESP) from the 26th to the 29th of May, 2026. Registration on nicenesp.sciencesconf.org till March 31st, 2026.
The work on Interaction Induced Anderson Transition in a Kicked One Dimensional Bose Gass by Hazel Olsen, Pierre Devillard, Gianni Aupetit-Diallo, Patrizia Vignolo and Mathias Albert (Phys. Rev. Lett. 135, 173403 (2025)) was put forward on the CNRS Physique web site.
Gabriel Lemarié joined the group at the beginning of 2026, coming from the CNRS international laboratory in Singapore, Majulab
Louise Destefani Moulin joined the group as a PhD student in October 2025, working with Mathias Albert and Patrizia Vignolo
Mathias Albert, Mathilde Hugbart, Claire Michel, and Patrizia Vignolo organize the workshop "MatterLight2025 : Many-body physics with photons: when light matters", taking place in Cargèse (Corsica, France) from May 26 to May 30 2025.
