This Privacy Policy describes how the **inoBudget** app ("the App") handles user information. It was developed by Miguel Bica ("we", "the developer").

By using inoBudget, you agree to the terms described here.

## 1. Summary

inoBudget was designed to work **entirely on your device**. We do not collect, store, or share your personal or financial data on any external server. There are no accounts, no internet connection is required to use the app, and there are no ads or third-party trackers.

## 2. What data the App stores

inoBudget stores locally, only on your device, the information you enter for the app to function:

- Budget envelopes (names, icons, colors, and budgeted amounts)

- Transactions (amounts, descriptions, dates, and associated envelopes)

- Savings movements

- Your preferences (currency, language, appearance)

This information is stored through iOS's local storage system (`UserDefaults`) and **never leaves your device**, except when you, the user, decide to export it (see section 4).

## 3. Data we do NOT collect

inoBudget does not collect:

- Name, email, phone number, or any personal identifier

- Location

- Contacts

- Usage data, analytics, or behavioral statistics

- Advertising identifiers

There is no connection to our own or third-party servers for the purpose of data collection, analytics, or advertising.

## 4. Manual backup

The App lets you export a backup file with your data (envelopes, transactions, savings) so you can keep it or send it yourself — for example, to iCloud Drive or a personal email. That sharing is always an action **initiated and controlled by you, the user**; the App does not send that file to any server on its own.

If you choose to load a backup file, it replaces the data currently stored on the device.

## 5. Notifications

If you enable the backup reminder, the App schedules a local notification on your device through iOS's own system. This notification is generated and delivered locally; it is not sent through any external server.

## 6. Sharing data with third parties

inoBudget does not share, sell, rent, or transfer your data to third parties, because it simply does not collect it or have access to it.

## 7. Security

Since your data lives only on your device, its security depends on the protections built into iOS itself (for example, your device passcode and encryption). We recommend keeping your device protected with a passcode.

If you delete the App from your device, all data stored locally by it is also deleted, except for backup files you have manually exported elsewhere.

## 8. Children

inoBudget is not directed at children and does not intentionally collect data from minors — it does not collect data from anyone.

## 9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated occasionally, for example if new App features come to involve data handling differently. Any relevant change will be reflected on this page, with the updated date revised at the top.
