Universal Education means that educators proactively design experiences that promote students’ access to and success with grade-level standards and instruction. Regardless of a student’s race and ethnicity, gender identification, economic status, primary language, or abilities, and regardless of their experiences to-date, universal education is designed for and responsive to the student. The purpose of this document is to provide overview information about Florida's planning and problem solving model to educators working within and supporting virtual education, to address questions that have arisen that are unique to implementation in virtual settings, and to provoke team-based discussions resulting in increased consensus around implementing this way of work.
