HUB with Innovation LABS
The concept of hubs is increasingly being adopted by different sectors as a means to accelerate innovation. Participants of a HUB wants to contribute to wicked problems in society and contribute to innovation. Hubs provide a great environment for like-minded and forward-thinking individuals where they can collaborate and work on innovative solutions for challenges we meet today and tomorrow. A HUB consists of stakeholders from education, practice and research working together in Innovation LABs.
Professionals, researchers, teachers, politicians and students working together
on wicked problems are the added value in an Innovation LAB.
At this moment there are three HUB's in collaboration with the Nursing department and the knowledge Centre: Innovation in Care of the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
HUB Shanghai (Theme: Healthy Ageing) started in 2019
HUB Veneto Region (theme: Family care, SDG11) starts in September 2021
HUB Tanzania (Theme: Palliative care) starts in September 2021
Each HUB consists of one or more innovation LAB's
The constuction of the HUB is durable if the participating organisations experience a win-win situation.
