Innov8 Design aims to make emerging design and manufacturing technologies accessible to students who may not otherwise have exposure to them. By introducing youth to 3D design and digital fabrication early, the program encourages creativity, problem solving, and interest in STEM careers.

ABOUT US
Arav has been making 3D models in Sketchup since he was 10. He has been seeing his mom design beautiful houses for her clients in her professional world. (She is an architect).
Arav took some Sketchup lessons, and since then, his interest in it has grown more. He has also been getting better and better at it throughout the years. He also likes collecting different hot wheel cars and making tiny detailed things.
OUR VISION
Innov8 Design is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities in 3D design, digital modeling, and 3D printing using free software tools and publicly available resources. The organization conducts workshops, mentoring sessions, and hands-on learning activities to introduce students and community members to design thinking, computer-aided design (CAD), and digital fabrication.
The name “Innov8” reflects the idea of “innovation”, and the number 8 symbolizes infinite possibilities, representing the organization’s goal of encouraging creativity, curiosity, and limitless exploration through technology and design education.

We want to introduce 3D modelling to anyone interested. They will be able to make their dreams into reality.
Here are some examples of 3D models that you might learn from the sessions.
A Custom Keychain
Because 3D modeling has endless possibilities, you can also create the things you want for yourself. For example, a custom keychain! The keychain can be made by using Shape tools to create the body and using the 3d warehouse for putting anything that you like in the middle!
In the end, you get something that reflects you, and when you 3D print it, you can use it too!
The introductory workshop will teach you how to make this!
House
This house has an interior (a house's inner part) , exterior (a house's outer part), windows, and also a front-yard. The interior includes everything from a Bed, a Restroom, a Living room, A kitchen, A dining room, and even a Gaming room!
Everything was made in Sketchup, and the furniture was from 3D-Warehouse, which has tons of free models to import in your existing model, and spark up everything a lot!
Minecraft Earth Muddy Pig
You might think that you have seen this pig somewhere before, because this pig is from a game called Minecraft Earth. The process of making this pig was first by looking at some pictures of the thing you want to make, then starting to give the starting object a shape to represent the thing which was being made. After making the shape, the shape is colored to represent the final object!
Minecraft Chunk
Minecraft is made out of large squares which have different types of blocks in them, and the large squares are called 'Chunks'. If you look at this picture, you can see that there are different types of blocks in this chunk. You can also see that the blocks in this chunk are colored uniquely. The color and the pattern on the block is called a 'Texture'. Textures are used in 3d modelling a lot of times, because it makes the object you are designing more colorful and realistic, and lets people look at the thing you have made in a more better way!
