I've moonlighted as a beta reader for half a decade now: four years informally with friends and family, and a year spent as a successful freelancer. Fantasy's my domain, backed up by the many, many hours tucked away devouring my favourite stories. High fantasy, low fantasy, urban or cozy, dystopia or magical realism— I've got your back.

3. Filling the Form

Now we're really cooking! I'll pop you the link to my form— there you can tell me all the essentials about your story and upload it as a document file.

4. Invoicing

Almost there! All that's left is the half-now, half-later payment.

5. Off We Go!

And done! Settle back while I immerse myself in your story and get cracking on the promised report.

6. Delivery

The turnaround date arrives! Expect an email complete with attached files: your commented manuscript and a full in-depth report.

Paid beta readers don't tell you what you want to hear; they tell you what you need to know. It's my firm opinion that a good beta reader will be honest about their experience, but a great one isn't just honest. They're blunt but considerate, careful yet firm, because there's nothing worse than brutal, unfeeling criticism that crushes your wish to create something beautiful.
