Have any questions? You might find some answers here:
Q: How much do you charge for a tattoo?
A: My minimum starts at $130, and pricing is determined by size, placement, and detail.
Q: How do I reach out to you?
A: Please message me via email at inkyninked@gmail.com for any questions.
Q: What should I wear to my tattoo appointment?
A: Wear dark, flowy clothing that you don’t mind getting stained. Tattoo ink and stencils can get on everything. Flowy clothing allows me to access the tattoo area easily. For more invasive placements (like the sternum or upper hip), consider options like a skirt with a slit or a flannel with buttons.
Q: Can I arrive early to my appointment?
A: I recommend arriving on time. I often step out for lunch, so I may not be in the studio until about 10 minutes before your appointment.
Q: I want my first tattoo; will it be painful?
A: Tattoos can be painful, and everyone has different pain tolerances. For first-timers, I suggest starting with a small tattoo on the arm, as it's generally less painful. I wouldn’t recommend the ribcage for a first tattoo, as it can be quite painful.
Q: Where are you located?
A: I work in a private studio in Fountain Valley, CA. I share the address 1-4 days before your appointment. I don’t accept walk-ins to maintain a one-on-one experience. If you’re traveling over two hours, let me know if you need the address for traffic calculations.
Q: How do I pay you?
A: A deposit is required, which can be sent via Zelle or Venmo. On the day of your appointment, I only accept cash.
Q: When will I receive my tattoo design draft? Do I see it the day of the appointment?
A: I usually send the draft 1-4 days before your appointment. If you’re unhappy with the design within the last 12 hours before the appointment, we can reschedule or cancel.
Q: I can't make it to my appointment anymore; can I get my deposit back?
A: Unfortunately, deposits are non-refundable. Please review my policies before booking.
Q: Why don't you offer finger and hand tattoos?
A: Fine-line tattoos on fingers and hands don’t age well; they tend to fade and require frequent touch-ups due to the skin’s regeneration. While it’s possible to do them, I ethically don’t recommend it, as many online examples are freshly done. Always look for healed photos for a realistic idea of how they age!
