InKeep ("we", "us", "the App") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process, how we utilize it, and your rights regarding that information.
a) Personal Information
InKeep does not require you to create an account or log in. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to our servers.
b) Clipboard Access
To simplify the link-curation and bookmarking process, the App reads web URLs copied to your device's clipboard. This action is performed entirely locally on your device. Clipboard data is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
c) No Photo Library Access
InKeep operates entirely within its own isolated environment. The App does not request, access, scan, or save any data to your device's native Photo Library or Camera Roll, ensuring your personal media remains entirely private.
d) Local Sandbox Storage
All saved bookmarks, text links, collections, and associated metadata and layout files are stored strictly within the App's secure internal sandbox directory. We do not have access to these files, and they never leave your device.
e) Feedback Data
If you choose to submit feedback through the App, your message and basic device information (device model, app version) may be sent to our email to help us improve the App's user experience.
We use the following secure third-party services to enhance app functionality:
Google AdMob: Displays advertisements in the free version of the App. AdMob may collect your device's Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and anonymous usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, depending on your tracking preferences. The App requests your explicit permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before collecting any tracking data for advertisement personalization. If you decline, only non-personalized ads will be shown. You can change this preference at any time in your iOS Settings.
We implement industry-standard local security measures to protect any data processed within the App. Since all content is contained within the local iOS sandbox, your data benefits from Apple's native device security architecture.
The App is a general-purpose productivity and organization tool and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personally identifiable information from anyone.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to manage your local data. Since we do not collect or store personal data on external servers, your privacy rights are exercised directly on your device (e.g., deleting a collection folder or removing the App entirely erases all locally stored sandbox data instantly).
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our local curation features. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
