About the project

It has a period of 10 days dedicated to the implementation of activities between
7 - 16 March (6- 17 March with travel days included).

The location for activities is Poiana Negrii, a small picturesque mountain village located near
Vatra Dornei, a popular resort in the Carpathian Mountains of Northern Romania.

The group present at the activities will be 36 young people between the ages of 18 and 30
and 6 group leaders who will have no age limit, a total of 42 people.

We designed “Initiate” project in order to offer young people entrepreneurial education, by developing the necessary skills for their professional development. By getting involved in the project, we aim to motivate young people to fulfill their potential and career goals, so that they become successful citizens, well placed in the economic and social flow.

The purpose of the project is to offer young people entrepreneurial education, giving them access to new knowledge and developing a series of skills, through activities that involve following non-formal learning methods:

- Getting to know each other and team building methods;

- Educational and strategic games;

- Methods of research and interactive presentation;

- Methods of analyzing and structuring the information;

- Methods for generating ideas and boosting creativity;

- Self-evaluation and awareness methods;

- Methods for organizing group discussions;

- Dramatic and artistic methods;

- Methods of developing imagination and creativity;

- Methods of developing communication skills;

- Teamwork;

- Direct learning, learning through example and experience.

We have outlined the objectives of the project starting from the realities encountered both at European level and in the communities of the partner associations:

- To offer entrepreneurship education to young people and to develop the necessary skills to the 42 participants, identifying 5 sustainable business ideas.

- To provide young people with practical working tools, creating and distributing "Young Entrepreneur's Guide" to 10,000 contacts.

- To support young people in launching entrepreneurial activities and to promote entrepreneurship among young people, creating and promoting motivational videos.

As a result of the activities, young people will become more aware and confident of their potential, developing their entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, managerial skills, strategic thinking and being more determined to achieve their goals. They will be more able to build a successful career and to integrate economically and socially.
