The Initiative for Energy Econometrics aims to advance the use of quantitative methods in the study of energy markets and their interactions with the broader economy.
Our objectives are to:
Foster expertise in advanced econometric and quantitative tools tailored to energy markets and related data.
Build a community of researchers dedicated to energy econometrics.
Provide training for early-career researchers and practitioners in energy economics.
Facilitate collaboration between academic institutions, policymakers, and industry leaders.
This initiative is designed for economists, early-career researchers, and policymakers who seek to integrate cutting-edge quantitative techniques into their work, supporting more robust and evidence-based decision-making
