FEET (Fine Energy Environment Technologies) laboratory carries out research on the Atmospheric environment & Material Engineering.

As getting more fossil fuel dependent, the quality of life has been significantly improved, but the increased energy consumption deteriorate the environment and accelerate resource depletion. Herein, FEET lab focus on 2 topics to solve the industrial pollution.

In case of Korea, PM (particulate matter) has been one of the serious problems in the atmospheric environment field causing numerous adverse health effects indoors and outdoors. FEET lab has been working on the air pollution prevention technologies, methods for measurement, environmental regulations and health effects through the in-vivo /in-vitro. Moreover, research on SOAs(Secondary Organic Aerosols) generated from gas phase material (ex. NO2) and CPM (Condensible Particulate Matter) are in progress.

On the material field, nano-material has great attention due to large surface area and the different properties with bulk. The catalytic activity of nano-material shows an outstanding performance and nano-transistor exhibit decrease in energy consumption. FEET lab is now focusing on electrocatalysts for producing hydrogen energy and nano-sized transistor for toxic gas sensor.
