Ingrid Mikkelsen Semb

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Economics at the University of Oslo. My main research interests are within labor economics and economics of education. During the academic year 2023/2024 I am visiting the UC Berkeley Department of Economics, where I also spent the academic year 2021/2022 as a Fulbright Scholar.

I am on the 2023/2024 job market. My job market paper studies a gender-based affirmative action policy in admissions to higher education in Norway. You can read more about it here.
