Ingraham Robotics began in 2012 with the creation of FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team FRC-4030 (Null Pointer Exception). At times the team consisted of more than 20 students and mentors. Here is a summary of their participation and accomplishments:
2012-2013 (Rebound Rumble)
Seattle Olympic Regional Finalist Award
2013-2014 (Ultimate Ascent)
Participated in Seattle Regional
Participated in Spokane Regional

PNW Shorewood District Innovation in Control Award
PNW Mt Vernon District Creativity Award
2015-2016 (Recycle Rush)
2016-2017 (Stronghold)
After the 2016-2017 season we determined that the availability of students and mentors, cost to host a team, and the time commitment required to stand up an FRC team became to difficult to manage. Instead we decided to limit our efforts to the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) program.
In 2013 Ingraham Robotics expanded its robotics presence by standing up FIRST Tech Challenge Team FTC-7462 (Not to Scale). Here is a summary of their participation and accomplishments:

In 2024, interest in our program grew considerably. At the same time FTC-8628 (Chickenados), a home team, had all of their members no longer attending high school. Needing more high caliber mentors, Ingraham Robotics approached the Chickenados to gauge their interest in joining Ingraham. We happily invited their Head Mentor (Phil) who graciously accepted. We decided to break up the total group into two teams. The Junior/Senior team is now FTC-7462 and the Freshman/Sophomore team is now FTC-8628. Having 2 teams within the same classroom has made it possible to feed off of each others creativity resulting in the following performance:
2024-2025 (Into the Deep)
(7462) - Pasteur Interleague Think Award
(Both) - Pasteur Interleague Finalist Alliance
(8628) - Pasteur Interleague Winning Alliance
(Both) - Advanced to Semifinal Competition
(7462) - Semifinal Innovate Award
(7462) - Advanced to State Competition
Washington State Innovate Award - 2nd Place
Washington State Compass Award (Steve Amorosi) - 2nd Place
