If you want durable, over-ear headphones with active noise cancellation and a strict volume limit for a child using a USB-C device, choose INFURTURE USB C Kids; if you need affordable, high-quality wired earbuds with a built-in remote for an adult or student using a Mac or iPhone, choose FUHAYA Apple MFi Certified.
• INFURTURE USB C Kids: Its biggest strength is the combination of Active Noise Cancellation and a hard 85/94dB volume limit designed to protect young ears, but it trades off portability as a bulky over-ear unit that is not ideal for running or tight backpacks. This pick is for parents who need safe, distraction-free audio for school and travel.
• FUHAYA Apple MFi Certified: Its biggest strength is the convenience of a compact in-ear design with a 2-pack value and advanced remote controls for music and calls, but it lacks active noise cancellation and relies on passive isolation. This pick is for adults or students who want a plug-and-play solution for commuting, studying, or work.
The INFURTURE USB C Kids headphone is engineered specifically for the demands of younger users in educational and travel environments. The most critical feature here is the built-in volume limiter set between 85 and 94 decibels. For any parent worried about hearing damage from prolonged exposure to loud media, this physical constraint offers peace of mind that software settings on a tablet cannot guarantee. The product uses a dynamic driver with a frequency range of 20Hz to 20,000Hz, ensuring that the stereo sound remains clear and balanced without needing to crank up the volume to hear details.
Design-wise, this unit prioritizes comfort during long listening sessions. It features an over-ear placement with oval earpieces wrapped in imitation protein leather, which feels soft against the skin. The enclosure material is chosen to be durable yet gentle, suitable for the rough handling common among children. With an item weight of 0.3 kg, it sits securely on the head without causing excessive strain, making it a viable option for long classroom periods or cross-country flights. The Active Noise Cancellation feature further enhances focus by dampening ambient sounds like bus engines or chatter, allowing the user to concentrate on their content.

However, this is not a pair of headphones for everyone. Because it is a wired unit with a USB Type C connection, it requires a device with that specific port, which limits its use on older equipment. Furthermore, the over-ear form factor means it does not fold down into a tiny case like earbuds, so it requires more storage space in a backpack. If your child needs something they can wear while playing sports or running around, the bulk and wired nature of these headphones will be a hindrance rather than a help. This product is strictly for stationary or slow-moving activities where safety and comfort are the primary concerns.
The FUHAYA Apple MFi Certified earbuds take a completely different approach, focusing on versatility, value, and seamless integration for daily life. As a 2-pack, this product immediately offers a significant advantage for anyone who frequently loses single earbuds or shares devices with a partner. The enclosure is made from Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), a sturdy plastic that resists drops and wear, making it reliable for tossing into a pocket or bag. The in-ear placement ensures a secure fit that stays put during movement, unlike the larger over-ear design of the INFURTURE model.
Audio performance here is tuned for clarity and immersion. The manufacturer highlights "Professional-Grade Tuning" with dual sound holes that create a 360-degree surround sound effect. While it does not feature active noise cancellation, the in-ear design provides passive noise cancellation by physically blocking out external air pressure and sound. This is often sufficient for many users, especially when combined with the "Better Pronunciation Units" that handle subtle audio changes effectively. The inclusion of a built-in remote allows for precise control over music playback and phone calls directly from the cable. A single press plays or pauses, double presses skip tracks, and triple presses go to the previous track, offering intuitive management without reaching for a screen.
This product is ideal for the tech-savvy student, the commuter, or the professional who needs a reliable backup pair of headphones. The MFi certification ensures compatibility with Apple devices, meaning you do not have to worry about driver issues or connection errors when plugging into an iPhone, iPad, or MacBook. It also works with Android devices like Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel models, thanks to the universal USB-C standard. However, because it lacks active noise cancellation, it may struggle in extremely noisy environments like a busy subway or a construction site compared to the INFURTURE model. If you prioritize silence above all else, these might feel too open, but for general listening and calls, they are excellent.
• Best for battery-free reliability → Both are wired, but the FUHAYA offers a longer cable reach for desktop use while INFURTURE is better for head stability.
• Best for hearing protection → INFURTURE USB C Kids wins decisively with its mandatory 85/94dB volume cap.
• Best for portability → FUHAYA Apple MFi Certified is the clear winner due to its small in-ear size and 2-pack convenience.
• Best for noise isolation → INFURTURE uses Active Noise Cancellation to electronically cancel sound, whereas FUHAYA relies on passive fit.
• Best for call clarity → FUHAYA includes a dedicated microphone and remote for easy call management, while INFURTURE focuses on media consumption.
• Best for durability → INFURTURE uses premium leather padding for long-term comfort, while FUHAYA uses rugged ABS plastic for drop resistance.
• Best for shared usage → FUHAYA comes in a 2-pack, making it perfect for siblings or couples, whereas INFURTURE is a single unit.
• Best for macbook → Both connect via USB-C, but FUHAYA's remote makes it easier to manage music while working on a laptop.
After weighing the specifications and intended use cases, I would buy the FUHAYA Apple MFi Certified for my own personal use as a usb c charging headphone for macbook. The convenience of the remote controls, the ability to get two pairs for the price of one, and the compact in-ear design make it the superior choice for an adult navigating daily tasks. The lack of active noise cancellation is a trade-off I am willing to accept given the superior value and portability. However, if you are shopping for a child who needs to focus on schoolwork without damaging their hearing, the INFURTURE USB C Kids is the only responsible choice due to its safety features and active noise cancellation. Ultimately, the decision hinges entirely on whether you need a tool for a child's safety or a versatile accessory for your own workflow.
Yes, the FUHAYA Apple MFi Certified earbuds are explicitly designed for the iPhone 17, 16, and 15 series, along with iPad Pro and various Android models like the Samsung S25 and Pixel 9. The INFURTURE model works with any device featuring a USB Type C port, including iPads and tablets, but is not designed for iOS-specific features like the remote buttons.
They offer passive noise cancellation through their in-ear seal, which blocks a good amount of ambient sound, but they do not have electronic Active Noise Cancellation like the INFURTURE model. If you are in a very loud environment, the INFURTURE's active technology will provide a quieter experience.
At 0.3 kg, the INFURTURE USB C Kids is relatively heavy compared to earbuds, but the over-ear design with imitation protein leather is intended to distribute weight comfortably for extended periods. It is best suited for seated travel rather than active movement.
While the FUHAYA earbuds deliver professional-grade tuning with deep bass response, they are a wired solution, not wireless. If you require true wireless freedom, neither of these products fits that description, but the FUHAYA provides excellent sound quality for a wired setup.
